Hi all, I'm so glad to see so many DA questions and responses. It gives me hope that I'll get an answer to mine! I am traveling with my DH, dd 7 months, 18 yo brother, and my sister and her husband next week. We are all HP fans, but I must admit universal has hit my bad side with some customer service snafus, so I don't know as much about them or their queues. 1) with these super long waits for gringotts, are there restrooms in the queues? Are there any benches? Water fountains? How much of the line is outside? Can't have my baby getting too hot! 2) is it even worth going without early entry? Or should we wait until next year maybe? These posts about 2 hour waits with early entry make me nervous... 3) has anyone had experience with child swap at gringotts? What is it like? Do they let you right on when your party returns? I'm really on the fence about going, but since my brother and sister are going, it does mean DH and I can ride a few "grown up" rides together. We usually travel just the 2 (now 3!) of us. Thanks so much for your help!

of course the lines are long right now.
the rides and area haven't even been open a month yet.
and it is summer vacation for families.

lines will fall off in a few months.
but since you are going next week, check out www.universalorlando.com and familiarize yourself with the parks.
you will get the layout of the land and can locate the restrooms in advance.

the website will explain baby/child swap program.
you all go through the line together, split up once members in your party go on the ride.

Thanks for the reply. I'm wondering specifically about restrooms in the queue. With 2+ hour waits, I'm wondering how to go about getting to a restroom after we get in line. It's summer, people drink a lot of water...

that one i can't answer as i won't be there until this fall.

i have read the earlier threads that mentioned guests that had to leave the wait line for DA and the rides, were allowed back to their place in line by the TM.
they talked to the TM working the lines at the time they needed the RR break.

if no one answers that question for you, send an email to guest services at the parks, they would be able to let you know.

Great idea, thanks! And thanks for the info about others successfully going back to their spot in line.
