DAH MK vs DAH HS vs Pirate Party

Which would you choose? We are family of four, kids are 11 and 4. We have the option of DAH MK on our next to last night, DAH HS on our last night, or a Pirates & Pals Fireworks Dessert Party on our next to last night. My four year old loves all things pirates, Star Wars, and Toy Story. My 11 year old loves all things princess. We want to do something special to end our trip, whether that be on our last night or next to last night. Excited to hear your thoughts!

I personally never plan the special things for the last night in case they get cancelled for weather or some other reason. Gives room to possibly make them up. Our last night we do try to always watch some fireworks somewhere and it’s always special just because it’s the last night.

I went with DAH MK, but I'm a bit biased towards MK. It's what makes me keep coming back to WDW.

We have enjoyed both the DAH at MK and the Pirate party. We have not done the DAH at DHS. Unless the 4 year old is a night owl it will be hard for them to stay up. We did this last year and my 12 year old had a hard time staying up that late. We did enjoy it as they didn't sell all of the tickets and the park was virtually deserted. We stayed until the end but she was not a happy camper!. We really enjoyed the Pirate and Pals event. From the fun snacks, meet and greets, to the boat ride we found that it was a fun and easy activity. Both of my kids enjoyed it and I would do it again. I would do the DAH again but I want to give her a few years to be able to stay up longer!

We are at Disney now, still debating which we are going to do. We are doing DAH AK tonight, so we can see how our youngest does with the late hours. We stayed until close at MK last night, and he did great. Everyone is sleeping in today and lazy day by the pool, then nap and DAH. Fingers crossed he does well and we get to ride everything tonight.
