First time to Paris, I take it that the terms and conditions are the same for us DVCérs as they are for normal guests? Specificaly park access on the day you check out.

You ARE a regular guest at Disneyland Paris, even of you book your stay using points.

So you will have a normal hotel guest ID which gives you early access to Disneyland Park in the morning.

Do you get park passes with DVC bookings? - I thought you had to do that seperate, which if this is what you have done then you will be able to access the park for the numbers of days you have booked tickets for not duration of stay. I may be wrong or have got your question wrong!

This changed a while ago. You used to be able to book "Room only", but now you have to book a package which includes length of stay tickets.

This makes it not very interesting if you plan to see Paris and other places during your stay there.

I would recommend taking an outside hotel, for example the IBIS in Val d'Europe which is only one train stop away from the Disney resort and right next to the train station which makes it also very convenient to get to Paris. Rooms are less than $100 a night.

It used to be the case that a DVC points booking included access to the parks, but as has been said, that particular benefit was removed a long time ago. We now are obliged to purchase park tickets for all the party for every day, which is pretty disgraceful IMHO, and the main reason that we no longer use our points for DLP.

Thanks for the replies Folks, I had not realised that you had to buy the tickets now! It was never a very good deal, but now it just does not make sense at all. Oh well, back to the drawing board.:confused3

hi, if i price a package at DLP on their website, it seems much more expensive than in points (if i count on 4 to 6 usd per point). what am i missing that i don't see how it's cheaper to book cash ?
