Dads in the baby care centers?

I was wondering if men (dads) are allowed in the baby care center? Is there a separate room where moms can breastfeed? I'm trying to picture how everything is set up. My husband will think he's not allowed in there if I don't have evidence to the contrary.

Men are definitely allowed! At some there were individual private rooms for nursing and others had one big private area away from the changing tables. I only used the nursing area once or twice, instead we made use of all the rides that are dark. :)

The baby care centers are multiple rooms. There's a changing table room, a room with a little "store," a room for feeding, and a room for nursing. Dads are welcome in any of the rooms except the nursing rooms.

You know there's cameras in those rides right?

Ya, so?

He is def allowed in the baby centers. Hubby had to make an emergency change of our then 2 year old while I went into the nursing room to feed our 9 month old. The baby center at MK by crystal palace and the baby center in the big pavilion between TT and Mexico did not have private bfing rooms. The room was a rather large room with a bunch of rocking chairs in a circle. Just a warning if you are on the shy side.

You know there's cameras *everywhere* at Disney World, right? I really wouldn't be surprised if there's even a camera in the baby care centers' nursing rooms.

Ok, maybe there aren't any in the restroom stalls, but I'm certainly not going to feed my baby in there. Gross.

So pretty much there is literally no way in which to nurse a baby and not be on camera. You either get over it or stop nursing. Personally, I would go with the former.

Dad was allowed in all the baby care centers but in the bf specific room they kicked him out if another bfing mama came in. In Ak ( and I think studios) the bfing rooms were singles so it wasn't an issue.

Love those AK nursing rooms! I wish all of the parks had them. Not because I mind NIP, but because I had a very distractible nurser who wanted to throw a party when he saw all of the other babies in the room at MK. It was an obscenely hot day so we wanted to be inside to nurse and he just kept baby babbling and giggling and making raspberries at the other babies.

To answer the OP, my DH went to the baby stations several times during our trip to change DS.

I mentioned it because not everyone knows that, so you guys can put your claws away.

I feel like there are more dads than moms in there a lot if the time! My hubby and I have a deal, if we need a diaper change in a baby center, he does it, in a bathroom- I do it!

Oh my gosh this was my son on our last trip! It got so embarrassing that I left. He was like the class clown in the nursing room, and he was climbing all over me and being a loud goof and I didn't want to disturb the other moms with real little ones trying to nurse peacefully. I have to say I am glad to be done with nursing for this next trip!

Not to mention the person specifically mentioning dark rides, so there could be an assumption on that person's part that she is not aware that she can still be observed.

Useful info, IMO.

We have the opposite deal, lol. He usually does the bathroom changes since there usually is never a line for the changing tables in the mens rooms. I take care of the changes in the room and the baby center if we are near one.

I'm glad I'm not alone in this problem. We had to leave too! Otherwise, they probably would have thrown me out. All of those sweet tiny babies trying to eat and my whacky 8-month-old attempting to incite a baby riot :rolleyes1
