i watched 2 fathers jump out of their cars (with the kids  ) almost coming to blows over the fact that there are no lefts turns allowed...o.k ..so they are going to fight over this in front of all the elementary kids. they blocked everyone else behind them so we all are stuck watching this screaming fight. i'm talking to my kids in the back seat to distract them from it as we wait it out...they finally jumped back in their cars and took off...
here is the kicker-one of the screaming red faced dads is a cop! he's wearing street clothes..he works night shifts(the mom was in one of my toddlers gym classes) so why would he act like that?????

My guess would be a giant case of whoop-*** male hormones is what caused these 2 guys to act that way......

There a couple of parents at our school who just refuse to obey the drop off/loading lane rules!

That reminds me of the scene in Mr. Mom where he goes in the wrong way...but later he's the one with the sign and the whistle explaining things to other parents.
We have parents who won't "move up"...they wait for their kids and everyone behind them is waiting to move in to the "pick up " area...they are supposed to move as far ahead as they can so others can get their kids as well. Or worse, they get out and go into the building...you are supposed to park if you need to go in, but some don't, they just figure the rules don't apply to them.
There have been some parents I would like to jump out and beat, but only to beat some common sense into them!
