Daddy's coming home

I'm a teacher - I say keep them home the next day too!!! I'm sure they will want to be with dad... On second thought... send them to school... they will see him when they get home!!!

Fortunatly (or unfortunatly ) they have the next day off of school ANYWAY.

I talked to both of their teachers about it and they looked at me like I had three heads for even asking, lol! OF COURSE I should take them out of school that day, lol

Take them out of school! It's just one day of school for your kids, but if your dad is like mine, his grandkids are probably his world.

The only reason I'm hesitant to do it is they are going to miss another day about a month and a half later because we have to leave town for a wedding.

I mean they are only in kindergarten and preschool so I know it's not the end of the universe, I just don't want to get into the habit of taking them out of school for everything.

That and he'll be home for 8 weeks before he's gone for another 6 months. He's ALWAYS coming and going.

Preschool and kindergarten?!?! I would take them out and not think twice about it....heck my daughter missed 36 days of kindergarten and she still managed to move up to first grade LOL....
