Daddy's coming home

definitely take them out....I can't believe this is actually a question...

Mh has been deployed twice and I didn't hesitate to take the girls out of school.

If they were mine, they would miss to pick Daddy up and the next day lol.

OP, I would take them out of school and for the rest of the week. You guys so deserve the family time!

Thanks to your DH and the other soilders!

i'd take them out not just to see daddy get home  but also in the event that your arrivals are anything like all of ours end up... not on time! that would be no fun to have to figure out pick up plans if the arrival got pushed one way or the other. have an awesome reunion!:cool1:

Pull them out!!

And many thanks to you and your DH for your service to our country! Blessings on your family! :grouphug:

Daddy totally deserves for them to be there when he arrives!

Can't you just pick them up 3 hours early from school, on the way to the airport ? They don't need to miss the whole day.

I would not hesitate twice, regardless of what grade they are in, to take them out of school to meet their daddy at the airport. :goodvibes

Nothing is more important than family - take the kids out of school to go to the airport!

Thank you to all of you for your service and sacrifice.

This from someone whose DH is about to leave on deployment to AFG...

Take the kids out of school. Nothing...NOTHING...is more important than family.

Take those sweet babies out of school and bring then to greet their daddy at the airport!!!

You ALL deserve it! And thank you, your DH and your kids for the sacrifices you all make!

Another vote for taking the kids out of school!!!
I say take them, don't worry for one second about school, they will be so excited to see daddy home!

Of course you take them out:confused3 People take kids out of school all the time for vacations, dr./dentist appts. ect. I can't imagine not taking your kids out of school to go pick up your dh (they're dad,) who I'm sure has been gone for many months at the very least. My DH is also in the military and has had 3 deployments to Iraq, and I can't imagine not taking my kids to go greet him, because of school. It's a few hours of school, at most a day, they'll be fine...and I can't imagine any school/teacher that wouldn't totally support that decision.

Take them out of school but don't tell them where you are going. Put some flowers and balloons in your trunk for the drive and hand them to the kids after you park.

Congratulations on the great news!

Take them out...
I did it when my hubby came home from Iraq and Afganistan. My daughter was in 2nd and 4th grades. The teachers were very supportive.
Now, I'm a 5th grade teacher and I would be fine with taking your children out to see their dad come home from a deployment.

I'm a teacher - I say keep them home the next day too!!! I'm sure they will want to be with dad... On second thought... send them to school... they will see him when they get home!!! :rolleyes1:love::woohoo:
