Daddy & Daughters Photo Shoot

So today we decided to go out and test out Camryn's new camera around sunset at Pine Island. She recently inherited my wifes D40- THAT thread is here in case you missed it.

She is quite the serious photographer...

Not to be outdone- Lauren has adopted an old P&S we had...

The birds were a ways out so I let her try the 70-300vr- She told me she may need her own soon...

Anyway- here are a few of the 'other' shots I took...

Thanks so much for looking and commenting all. Having grown up taking pictures myself and hanging around in my fathers darkroom I am thrilled she is enjoying this.

Great shots by the entire family! My dd had her first bout of "camera envy" - she was looking at the pictures and said - "gosh mom, she's a lot younger than me, and look at the camera she has to work with!!!" My reply .......

"get used to that feeling babe!"
... because if it's not the camera body, it's the lens on the end that will give you that green rush!!!
