Da Vinci Code DVD Released Today

Will you be renting or buying it?

I suspect this will be a huge seller and high on the rental lists. With most of the negative publicity by the church groups now silent, people will be looking to see what they passed up while it was in theaters.

I'll be picking it up at Target. They have a special 3 disc version that includes the History Channel Documentary "Beyond The Da Vinci Code".

I'm getting it on NetFlix. It's first up, but it says "short wait".

Unlike others, I thought that book was better than Angels and Demons, but I'm not too excited for the movie.

I love Dan Brown and read all his books. I just hope the movie is half as good as the book.

I'll probably rent-it doesn't seem like the kind of movie I'd watch more than once. I thought the book was ok, but certainly not the best thriller I've ever read.

My rebel streak always sends me right out in search of whatever book or movie that Church people say is bad for me. I've found some great thought provoking stuff that way. If my faith is so weak that a novel or movie can shake it, I've got larger problems.

We'll rent it when we get in our house. The twins broke the DVD player here in the apt.

I read the book while I was in the hospital during my pregnancy in '05. Dh bought me the hard cover version that had illustrations.

It was a good read.
