I have a couple questions regarding D23. I've seen it mentioned before and I've seen some merchandise for sale but I'm still not sure what it is. Any info would be great!

What exactly is D23?
What are the perks or benefits?
Is the membership worth paying for?

D23 is the official Disney fan club and although it began as a paid service, free memberships began not too long ago. A Gold membership is $74.99, a Silver is $34.99.
