D23 Return to Marceline.

Just wondering if anyone else is planning on going to the D23 Return to Marceline MO.

It's okay, I've been to Marceline on my own when we lived in MO. But you don't get to go in the elementary school, or the house he grew up.
Was looking forward to those parts. But hopefully D23 will do it again in 2019, or 2020.

I know several of us KC DISers were planning to go, but it did sell out really fast. Also, we were surprised at how expensive it was. We plan on going up on our own at some point.

Zombie thread! I detoured on my way home and stopped in Marceline yesterday. I ate breakfast at the cafe downtown and I saw two buses drive up. That was the D23 crew. Luckily, I got through most of the museum before they got there. I could have gone out to the house and the barn before it closed at 1:00 for the D23 crew but I didn't take the time. I figure I can go back some day since we live fairly close.

While the barn is open to everyone all of the time,
I don't believe the house is ever open to the general public. It is after all a private residence.
I think the owner gives special access to D23.

Also while you can go the outside of the elementary school, you cannot go inside, except with D23.
