I didn’t get the impression they’re replacing Frontierland but heard they are developing beyond Big Thunder Mountain.

Okay. I'm curious if others are thinking that because it was pretty much subdued after the announcement compared to Monsters Inc Land but of course that could be the fact that there already is a Cars Land at DCA.

What was the lounge and something about Spaceship Earth? The livestream I was watching had major lag at that time so I didn't catch it.

I also didn’t get the impression they’re replacing Frontierland. Seemed like he said it’s an extension of Frontierland bringing it into more modern times aka more current IP. People might not be excited about cars land hence the silence (not sure I read that from the room either tbh) but I don’t think it was because he said anything about replacing Frontierland

Went back and re-listened. He doesn’t really say where in Frontierland it is. Guess we’ll need to wait and find out.

Yeah, I listened again also. The response wasn't as enthusiastic after he mentioned it as a part of Frontierland. I know I when I first heard it so I may not be alone. I'm actually, in my head, trying to connect it to Frontierland.

I guess the rumor about Cars coming to magic kingdom were true after all. Is this what’s supposed to be beyond big thunder mountain? I was hoping for a villains land announcement

I am however very excited for Encanto and Monsters Inc! Going to be an interesting next few years for WDW.

I am also under the impression that Cars is intended to be an addition to Frontierland (the rumored Beyond Big Thunder Mountain) rather than a replacement. Though hearing that announcement wasn’t met with great excitement isn’t too surprising.

Not going to lie, way more excited about a new parade in Magic Kingdom than the new expansions. The Monsters Inc roller coaster DOES catch my attention though, certainly the ride I found most interesting coming to WDW.

EDIT: HOLD UP VILLAINS LAND? I didn’t realize the announcements were still dropping (I didn’t want to fool with Fortnite)

Wow what a show hopefully it all comes through. It seems like it's all solid plans outside I think it was Monster Inc Land that one seemed not as solid.

A new nighttime parade is so grossly overdue that I never thought they would announce one. They could have just refurbished Paint the Night or even the old classic MSEP.

At long last, a nighttime parade at MK? I hope they're going to bring one to DLR, too.
