I have had my membership for a year in April, my DGF bought it for me for my birthday, I am wondering if many people think it worth it to keep it. I plan on going to D23 expo and possibly the scavenger hunt if I keep it. Is there really any other perks or other gifts they give you. Alot of the discounts do not apply to me because I am in southern Arizona, I have no problem with my air freshner or wrist watch that i have gotten but do the gifts get better? I am wondering from members who have had their memberships for a while now.

"Worth it" is a tough question for others to answer.

If you enjoy the 4 quarterly publications, it's a pretty good deal. The price of the four is only slightly less than the cost of the annual membership. So if you to advantage of any of the other perks, it's probably a good value. But, again, "worth" is sort of to each person's discretion.

P.S. Welcome to DIS!

That is true it is all in the person if it worth it I guess that because I have not really done much with it so I was skeptical. I do enjoy the publications lots of interesting information that is great to know. I think I will keep it just wish they had more merchandise on the website or in park, the only thing I have purchased with it is the 2012 pocket watch pin. Thanks for the information and the welcome!!

I like being able to get the D23 exclusive pins and the magazines. I think mine expires in October and I will renew it.

So I think it is worth it.

I am a charter member of D23 and just renewed.

Just having the quarterly publications delivered is worth it to me.

From what I read from some non-D23 members who attended this last year's Expo you really do want to be a member to have a better chance of getting in to see what you want. Being a member and arriving very early each morning, I was not aware of how difficult it was for non-members until I read about it after the fact. (We are all hoping that changes will be made to the next Expo to reduce many of the issues that arose at this year's event... but that is a an entirely different thread......).

I agree that it would be nice to see more member items available to purchase. Though I should be grateful for the money I am saving by not having more things available I might be interested in ;)
