It's not my intention to point fingers, only to express concern that there is currently a lot of political tension surrounding the rainforest in Brazil, and I'm worried that if Disney announces a Brazil pavilion right now it will drag Disney into it and cause a lot of politically charged conversations surrounding the pavilion. Didn't Disney pull out of a South Africa pavilion because of the controversy surrounding apartheid? I might be wrong, but if I'm right then there is some precedent to avoid a Brazil pavilion right now.

could also be an opporutnity to shine a light on the situation - one that is really not being covered by local media to the extent it probably should be

I mean this is the same ride vehicle that they have in Shanghai. Nothing changed. There is a back restraint sort of light Flight of Passage.

They chose to keep the vehicle mechanism. I just don't see the benefit unless it's a stand a lone vehicle with a single row. Otherwise the uncomfortable aspects outweigh the thrill.

anyone else notice this photo that is going around? a) what is with the people in unitards? and b) looks like an Alice in Wonderland / Mad Tea Party in the background so could this be part of a revamps UK pavilion?

I wondered about that. The poster they have for UK has the rabbit from Alice AND Mary Poppins. Could we.....gasp.....possibly have two adds to UK!!!! Mary Poppins Merry Go Round AND Mad Hatter's tea party area? Be very cool! Also, the structure in the back of this shot...could ... be showing the merry go round

I am really surprised nobody is discussing the strange double-decker outdoor space behind SE shown from around 4:35-5:40. Looks very interesting

I wonder if it ties back to an original idea for the setup for World Showcase which was for the American Pavilion to be in that spot and elevated so that people would come to that first and pass under/through it to get to explore the rest of the world (also why (theoreticalyl at least) Canada and Mexico are where they are as they would have been on eaither side of the American pavilion if it was in that position like they are in the real world (albeit north/south vs east/west)

it's supposed to make ti like you are on a light cycle that is in the movie ... wouldn't really work if you were sitting in a non-cycle seat (or at least, would take away that element of theming/immersion)

And it makes you feel that when you are the 5th cycle in a row looking at someone's butt?

There are two more accessible seats in the back of each train. I haven't heard anyone who has ridden this in Shanghai say its uncomfortable. Why would they change the vehicle from what was in Shanghai already?

I didn't expect them to change the vehicle. Just stating my displeasure with ride vehicle choices in US parks. I won't likely get to Shanghai likely anytime soon so it doesn't effect me how they lay out those parks.

Chinese visitors are also smaller than American counterparts in both length and width for men and women. So not the best case of saying something is comfortable or not.

Anyways didn't mean to go off on a huge tangent just wanted to say my view of the ride vehicles.

I assume an outdoor bar or restaurant. I did notice a (new?) fountain around 5:16; I had a hard time placing exactly where it was though.

I have a feeling this is the outdoor beer garden?

well, yeah, as you are sitting it like riding a cycle ... obviously front row will be better but I think fine for everyone (haven't read any major complaints about it)

personally I really like the idea of different ride vehicles, but like with everything, no way to please everyone ... if they switched out to regular seats people would complain about that

well, this looks more like an actual tea party, which I think they do a tea party the Rose and Crown, so if this is more an extension of that, guess it fits and doesn't really overlap with the ride at MK - but yeah, other aspects of Alice they could have used instead

With the new Mary Poppins film I would like to see if this could happen. Isn’t there a lot of lockdown on what they can use of the original Mary Poppins film? The newer film may be their way around it.
