It was the first day D23! They aren’t going to announce things all on the first day!I'm very much let down by this as well. Hopefully, there will something else, bigger announced...

I assume an outdoor bar or restaurant. I did notice a (new?) fountain around 5:16; I had a hard time placing exactly where it was though.I am really surprised nobody is discussing the strange double-decker outdoor space behind SE shown from around 4:35-5:40. Looks very interesting
Disney Parks, Products, and Experiences - hosted by Bob Chapek at 10:30AM - lean more about what is next for Disney parks and resorts around the globe including the plans for Epcot.
Brazil has been burning the rainforest for decades. The U.S. is a rich and resource wasteful country. The people burning the rainforest have mostly been poor subsistence farmers. We in the U.S. should get our own ducks in a row before pointing fingers at other countries. That being said, this is a decades long controversy. I remember being in grade school and donating money to buy acres of the rainforest to preserve 30+ years ago. The attention on this will not deter Disney at all.Is anyone else deeply concerned that they're going to announce a Brazil pavilion? I keep seeing rumors that they'll be announcing a Brazil pavilion on Sunday, but with the rainforest on fire and the Brazilian government blaming NGOs (and possibly encouraging loggers and farmers to clear that land) it just seems like a really bad political minefield for Disney to step in, especially right now. Disney is smarter than that, right? Right??
Yeah while a tragedy for the rainforest that isn't stopping Disney especially if like rumored they have a corporate backing in building this.Brazil has been burning the rainforest for decades. Not sure about South Africa but they did back out of Israel. Though that was pressure from Morocco and elsewhere. I don't think there will be much controversy about Brazil. China is in the World Showcase and if you really want to go after a country that has future climate impact, besides the U.S. of course, China would be a better one than Brazil. People have short attention spans, sadly. This little controversy will be back on the back burner long before the Brazil pavilion, assuming it is coming, gets built. It's not my intention to point fingers, only to express concern that there is currently a lot of political tension surrounding the rainforest in Brazil, and I'm worried that if Disney announces a Brazil pavilion right now it will drag Disney into it and cause a lot of politically charged conversations surrounding the pavilion. Didn't Disney pull out of a South Africa pavilion because of the controversy surrounding apartheid? I might be wrong, but if I'm right then there is some precedent to avoid a Brazil pavilion right now.
Sort of where Innoventions West sits on the way to The Seas pavilion and The Land.Has it been announced where the Moana attraction will be in EPCOT?
Well..........Okay here are my predictions.....some may not be announced but will happen eventually
Parks:
Epcot will be the main if not sole focus -
Updates - names and more info on: Spine project, Space restaurant, New land movie, GotG with I HOPE updated actual art for Spine renewal
New updates - more info on SSE redo and shut down, Water feature walk to and update of Seas(finding Dori?)
New - New name for FW area - I don't see how they can keep that moniker now and overall Epcot plan
WS - UK ride announced, Brazil Pavilion - yeah I think these two finally get announced.
I think this is going to be Disney's big push to hide the fact that Uni is building a 3rd park in Orlando...... by pre-launching NEW Epcot
Other adds:
MK - may or may not announce updates to Tomorrow land for 50th- Philharmagic, Orbiter, CoP and maybe Buzz
AK - I am not buying the new ride in AK or any major add. Only caveat here is primeval whirl....IF this is a real issue this may push up the redo of the Dino area that has long been rumored.
DHS - I think we get ONE add here to help this park more - Whether it be Black Box ride in VotLM or refurb of Rock n Roller coaster to some new IP. - also update on Mickey ride
I do think we get a blurb on DL Marvel area as well.
I also think we will get some kind of updates on new resorts - Reflections and Lighthouse probably
I mean this is the same ride vehicle that they have in Shanghai. Nothing changed. There is a back restraint sort of light Flight of Passage. Can we stop with all the stupid ride vehicles? Just give me a stupid seat where I can relax while riding a crazy coaster.
I mean is being 5th in line on a motorcycle really that more engaging. I just see that lightcycle and think how cramp my legs will be or how my wife will feel like she's falling off it.
