D23 Expo 2015 - Hotels?

Hoping to be able to attend Expo this year. Just wondering about recommended hotels between the Anaheim Convention Center and DLR? Does anyone have suggestions based on previous good experiences with any in that area?

I will be spending time at both places, and for a couple days before the convention, will go to the Parks. I've only stayed on site a couple times, but never at any of the hotels in the DLR / Convention Center area, so I'm unfamiliar with them.

You can't beat the Hilton. It is literally right next to the convention center, and there is a shuttle stop right outside for the parks.

Candy Cane Inn is a great choice if you want to visit DLR and the D23 Expo and not change places. I did that in 2011 and 2013. This year we are doing something different and changing hotels in between. But if you do not want to change then look seriously at CCI.

Thanks for the suggestions! Still haven't decided. I may even split the stay between CCI and the Hilton. Need to decide soon!

Honestly, the Hilton has a shuttle stop, so it's no big deal if you don't want to switch.

Paradise Pier is an option too. It is about a 10-15 minute walk to the convention center. A good option if you want to stay in the Disney Bubble.

Thanks all!!! I made a reservation last week at the Hilton. I had thought about considering Paradise Pier, too, but got a AAA discount for the Hilton which was better than the Expo rates.
