The membership fee includes the quarterly magazine for a year. Off the newstand, the mag is $16.00. So basically, you're paying $11.00 more for everything else membership includes. (Card, collectible gift, charter year certificate).

I can't wait for my "welcome" package to come in the mail!!

Well, me too. But if all I get is a one time collectable (and EVERYTHING Disney is collectable) and 4 magazines and no Disney discounts, they are not gett'n that kinda money from me for 4 magazines.
