Friday we went to D Lux burger in Disney springs. It had only been open 5 days. This is Disneys new gourmet burger joint. It was excellent. The burger was huge (we shared) We got a Southern classic which came loaded with a fried green tomato, bacon and pimento cheese. So so good. The fries are generous and are specially prepared in a three day process including a soak in vinegar which gives them a great flavor Highly recommend it!

Would the smaller size of the two fries be enough for two people to share? I can't tell from the photo's I've seen.

I would say yes. We got a large for three of us and we left about a third of them.

Also had the Southern Burger - loved it! Burgers WAY BIGGER than photos look. We should have split one. But I really wish they had a couple more options. I wanted a meat burger and the only other options are basic, BBQ and spicy. No interest in any of them so Southern it was.

Line was long. Went back Sunday morning and even at 11 am the line was long.

is it on the dining plan?

Menu had snack icons and lady in front of us said yes, they were using the quick service credits.

Thanks! We aren't going until November so hopefully it gets a little better. I'm the basic cheeseburger person the menu is aiming for :) Thankfully the other options are different enough and appealing to my friend since she wants something other than a regular burger with all the other choices at DS. But this became our first choice when we found out Edisons wouldn't be open by then since we want to try somewhere new.

Interesting. They had 5 options when we were there as well as a veggie burger. They were very accommodating and we walked right in the door on Friday, only a couple of people ahead of us.

Did you have to wait long for the queue? was it easy to grab a place to sit down or can you take it away with you?

They have veggie and chicken burger.

If you want beef there is :
- basic, which I wanted interesting
- BBQ, which I've had and don't enjoy the combo
- el Diablo, which I don't do spicy
- southern classic

So for a specialty burger place a limited menu. It would have been nice to have a couple more interesting options.

Was with a CM who had been already and she said it usually has a line so budget the time.

For QS credit it's a great value so I'd expect it to stay very busy.

I can't think of many other burger combos they haven't got, there is plain, spicy, bacon. If you just want a bacon cheeseburger maybe ask for the BBQ sauce to be left off? An option of blue cheese might be good. But there aren't many good combinations missing, what would you add?

I'm also undecided on the QS credit value. In a park you would get the regular burger, simple fries, dessert (or snack) and a drink. At flame tree you can get chicken, ribs, beans, coleslaw, dessert (or snack) and drink. Whereas D-Lux only gets you the burger on its own, dessert OR fries and a drink. So the burger is better quality, but if you really want fries and dessert its maybe not the best value. Although its a better use than a QS credit at BB Wolfs sausages or Aristocrepes where a credit gets you a sausage (or crepe) and two drinks as they don't offer desserts or snacks at those locations, also as the crepes are all under $10 its poor value.

We ate there on Saturday around 1:30 pm, and the line was around 30 minutes. They were bringing ice water to the people waiting outside, it is much cooler once the line goes under the porch and inside. There seems to be sufficient seating (both inside and on the patio), but all food is delivered in paper bags that you can take away.

From the pictures I've seen it looks great! I'm a big burger fan and they look delicious. Definitely think a trip is on order when I'm next in WDW

If you get fries, there are a number of options for the dipping sauces - putting one of the sauces on the burger might be one way of updating the taste. (I'm thinking of getting the BBQ burger, asking for the sauce on the side, and then putting a dipping sauce on the burger.)

I guess most of us were surprised to fine it is qs instead of ts and maybe that's where the trick goes to. Get the burger but not the fries or the dessert

It sounds like we were lucky. We walked right in and ordered within a couple of minutes. Yes you can get it to go!

Aah yes! Forgot to mention that. The dipping sauces for the fries were great! Big fan of the garlic and the curried ketchup.
