D-Day Invasion- "Strange"-ly Imminent!! TRIP REPORT IS UP!!

Hope this doesn't spoil anything for her, but I just heard from Maroo and she said the magic associated with Baker's family trip to WDW has been amazing so far, and they have only been there a few hours. Baker has been doing very good so far, and is really enjoying it. She can't wait to tell everyone how awesome it has been!

She hasn't seen much of Liesa yet, being so involved with Baker's family, but she knew that would be the case early on. I'm sure they will make up for it in a few days, and they will have a great time together the rest of the trip! I told her to take lots of pictures.

Oh my gosh!

I have to tell you guys something funny that happened a couple of hours ago.




I called Liesa and the conversation went like this:

Me: "So, where are ya?" (you have to just think of my southern accent!)

Liesa: "I am...uh....on the pot..." (she said that last part really softly.)

Me: "You are where?"

Liesa: "I am...well...I am...in the airport......facilities." (or something like that)

Me: To which I said, "You're on the pot?!?"

Liesa and I both cracked up laughing!!

The really funny thing is that one of my "wishes" was that something embarrassing would turn out to be funny...and it already came true.

So now the question how many TIMES something embarrassing will come out true!

I thought you said she was ON POT!!! Guess I better get new glasses

Report Update for Liesa!!

I just texted Liesa and Mary to find out if they were there yet and I got a call back from Liesa right away wondering who it was texting her. She didn't have me in her phone yet. And guess what? She had just gotten off ToT!! The crazy nut was already in DHS!! She does me proud.
She landed around 11:15 and was at POP and eating lunch at Everything POP by approx. 12:20! That girl doesn't waste time does she?!?
By 3:15 she's already been on quite a few rides and having a blast! She said she's loving the solo thing and not having to wait on anyone. She wanted me to make sure I did an update so here it is!

That Liessa really is moving !!!!!

She's in the Little Mermaid! And she was Hi, says she is having a beautiful time!

You go Liessa !!

7:55 (EST) great dinner at HBD but her camera battery died!

Or none if she loses the camera again.

She is the one that calls it a POC camera!

2 'real world' uses yesterday.....
DW grabs the sugar bowl in the morning and there is nothing in there. She says 'that's nice'

I go to get my GPS out of my work truck that has over $20,000 of equipment in it. The alarm isn't on and the doors are unlocked. I say outloud- 'that's nice!'


The fall???? That will give Liesa a few months to forgive & forget!

Glen forgave me in 24 hours !!!!

I know! She told me she had memorized the ToT guy at the begining of the ride (sorry...I don't know his name-I wasn't a Twilight Zone fan)! I think she said she had ridden it three times by the time I texted her- 3:14. (her time of course)

We will do that. Since my oldest son is in Orlando now, we may be meeting him in Atlanta a few times a year. Whenever we can get all the Georgia DIS folks together, we will do it. Also, if you are ever in Nashville, we have a few DIS people here, too. Our best mall was completely flooded in May, but they are hoping to open it back up for Christmas. It's a great place for DIS meets.

That's sounds great! I actually have a niece in Nashville, but usually she comes to Chattanooga where her brother lives for get-togethers. She was posting pictures out of her office window at work of those floods in May. That was about as bad of flooding as I've seen, at least since a few years ago when the Mississippi was so flooded everywhere it looked about twice as wide as normal.

I got a text from Liesa that she was at AK this afternoon. She went to Rafiki's Planet Watch and took some pictures of poo facts. She said that Magdalene would be proud!
