Weather Update!

Swirlie Watch 2010!

Looks like Earl is on his way toward the East Coast. Those of you doing the East dance should keep dancing! The models have shifted...some to the West and some to the East - so here is hoping that the East shifters are right! I hate to think about what could happen if a Cat 3 storm actually got too close with it's storm surge to some of those beautiful cities.

Fiona is just hanging out with Earl and should go out to see with the or dissapate altogether!


We have a new one to watch...98L...but right now the models can't decide where it should be at all - One model even has it going backwards. This would be named Gaston, though...and we don't need him coming to Disney World. So...stay away!!

Things are really falling into place now!!!

Getting very excited! In 24 hours I'll be flying high, and on my way!! (at a high altitude that is.)


The day before checklist- that would be tomorrow. But will most likely knock off a whole bunch tonight. We'll see...

1) Shave. (Yes, first things first.)

2) Do my self-pedi. Any guesses on what color I'm going with??

3) Retreive camera from G. Washington's ancestral home. Does anyone else find it sorely ironic that he was our first general?

4) Finish tip envelopes. Almost done.

5) Finish cutting out Mickey heads. 20 left.

6) Finish "guest book" for the door.

7) Finish back sides of itinerary pages. Almost done.

8) Do last load of laundry.

9) Re-pack.

10) Attach ME tags. Done.

11) Post last pre-trip thoughts.

12) Write a few thank you notes (dentist who saw my son for free) Now I need to mail them.
13) Program phone numbers into cell phone.

14) Call Maroo one last time. Once. Twice.

15) Take a Unisom and still stay up all night because of pre-trip excitement.

It will be fun to "scratch them off" in red as I do them tomorrow! Follow along with me as the story unfolds.

You're right. Upon closer inspection that shouldn't have been too hard to figure out. I guess I just didn't want to use brain power on that. Don't know why.

It's only temporary. It is undergoing a rehab. It is scheduled to be closed August 9 - September 19.

a) it was great to meet everyone in DC/Bethesda!

b) If you are heading to WDW in Sept, Travelzoo just announced a deal on La Nouba tickets for $53 normally $90 or so.

c) Have a great trip Liesa, Mary and Leeanne! I solemnly swear to get caught up and stay caught up on this thread this weekend!

We have Tropical Depression Nine...which will soon be named Gaston.

Now...the jokes here are endless...Gaston? We are going to Disney World and I don't want Gaston there...no matter how handsome he is!

I am sure that Gaston will be a gentlemen and stay out of our way...
