D’Amaro named next CEO

Because it’s a shared building once they touch some of it for those level of changes they’ll have to go through and remediate all of it based on current code.

They didn’t have to do that when they changed from Alien to Stitch because they were classified as cosmetic changes and code had more exceptions then.

And they can't do the whole building? Of course they can. Yes, it means closing down Ray's, so people will just have to get their burgers and chicken strips elwehwere for a while - poeple will still get them. Yes, they need to have soemwhere that can handle the bandwidth, but they can do it. Eventually they will need to do upkeep on Cosmic Rays and they will have to do it then. There is nothing preventing them from doing it other than that they don't want to.

Sure, but currently they don’t have the bandwidth to take on those added demands elsewhere in the park.

Tack on the bathroom closures, shop closures, and potentially People Mover closure that would happen as a part of the undertaking.

My family would disagree. The quality is exactly what I would expect from a fast-food establishment, and it fills the hunger void.
It does, it’s built for speed and not quality which is why it is usually the highest revenue generator for Quick Service of all of the parks. It’s great for the picky eaters and provides a large indoor seating space the other Quick services lack.

It’s still rated low by guests on average, but it certainly serves its purpose.

The big question that I have is...who takes over from Josh because for us fans theme park fans, surely that's just as important as who the CEO is

My guess would be Jeff Vahle. He is the most prepared and experienced. He has been at Disney for decades. AND he has been in Josh and Iger's company a lot during PR outings.

Likely front runners:

Thomas Mazloum - Current Disneyland Resort President
Ken Potrock - Current Major Events Integration President
Jeff Vahle - Current President of Walt Disney World

Of those I’d give an edge Mazloum because he was President of the Cruise Line prior to becoming President of Disneyland.

Just don’t want it to be Jeff Vahle personally

I apologize for going off topic but may I ask where you got those BWV and GF stickies? ❤️

I love your stamp!

A bunch of us made and posted different versions that others can copy and paste in their signature.

Feel free to use any of them. Here’s a few that I made:

Adding a new version of BW. I didn’t want the ocean inside mickey bubble but everytime tried to change, it would mess up the building.

It will be interesting to see if Josh's management style/Parks direction changes with Iger out of his way. Obviously, you need to stay in line to advance within this type of corporate structure.

To give credit where credit is due, I know a former large voice in the DISney community who called this very early on on his career.

Why not Vahle? Just curious, I don’t know much about him.
