We are looking at staying at this resort but have some questions.

I understand that getting daily maid service cost an additional amount. My question is does that mean the supply of towels, etc that you are provided is it for your stay and you would need to either bring additional items or use the washer and dryer in the unit?

Also does anyone know how much they provide you in the way of towels and such for the 3 bedroom?

This looks like a great place to put our family of 6 so any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

Yes you are right about the towels. You get one set for each person. You can wash them during the week. You get as many sets as the condo sleeps. So a three bedroom at Cypress Pointe would get 8 bath towels, 8 hand towels and 8 washcloths.

I'm not sure if they provide pool towels. I'd like to know this too since we'll be going there next month.

There were pool towels in the vanity in the master bath when we stayed there. They are larger than the bath towels. Again, you only get what is in the unit, so you have to wash them and reuse them. And I can't remember how many there were. I think there may have been only 4, but we had a 2-bedroom unit. Also, there was a dishrag, 2 (I think) dish towels and 2 potholders. There were, I think, about 4 rolls of toilet paper but it was so rough we never used it anyway (brought our own from home). There was a small bottle of dishwashing liquid which was more than enough - in fact, I'm still using it and we were there in August! There was enough dishwasher detergent for two loads and a little bit of laundry detergent - I think we may have gotten two loads out of that, also. I believe there were 4 bars of soap and two sample-size bottles of shampoo, as well as hand lotion. And I can only recall there being one roll of paper towels. There were also two packets of coffee - each enough for one pot. Anything else you need to bring from home or buy there. It was still a great place and a heck of a bargain, though.

Now I can leave our beach towels home. If we need an extra pool towel there, we'll just pick up another one at Disney.

3 weeks and 2 days and we'll be there! Woohoo!!!

This is a great bargain for our group and since we drive we won't have any problems bringing the stuff with us or getting it while we are there.

It does help to know ahead of time what to expect.
