I booked our room thru Hotel kingdom.com and I called to confirm our stay. I took everyones advice and requested bldgs 1, 2, or 3. I need to confirm our car rental and buy our e-tickets on line and we are good to go. I have been buying items to take along, such as candy bars, now is a great time to pick them up cheap, because of halloween. We have waited 4 years for our 2nd trip to disney and we are all excited. My 2 daughters have dance tryouts for our school competition squad the evening before we leave, wish them both luck or it maybe a long week.

Congratualtions. When are u going? Have u stayed there before? My husband & 2 sons & I are going to orlando 2/16/05-02/21/05 & will 1st stay at FW & then move over to CP, have you stayed there before? What made you pick it? I have not booked it yet, waiting to hear where my sister in laws & families are staying. Good luck.

Could you tell me why people advise to request bldgs 1, 2, or 3? Is it quieter, nicer, more convenient? I've looked at a map of the property. Does it matter if you are staying in a 1, 2, or 3 bdrm unit (we are planning on a 3 bdrm)...in other words, are some unit sizes only in certain bldgs? Thanks for any info!

I agree about being able to pick up treats cheaply now...hoping to use the same strategy as we are going right after Easter! By the way, good luck to your daughters in their tryouts, and have a great trip!

Buildings 1,2, and 3 have recently been renovated thus making them more desireable.

5 and 7 are also under remodel now and are scheduled to be complete by the end of November. Buildings 4, 6 and 8 are scheduled Jan - March.

Thanks for the renovation info klynn and 2 minnies...I was aware they were under way and that some are complete. As we are not planning to be there till April, it should all be done...but just in case they run behind...we know what to request. Still wondering if certain unit sizes are only in certain bldgs...? Does anyone know? We are planning on a 3 bdrm. unit.

I was wondering where the nicer 2 BR villas are in CP. (Not CPGV) Anyone know? (We'll be going in Dec.)
