To all of you that have visited the resort.

1. Did you ever request maid service, and how much do they charge per cleaning for a 2 bedroom?

2. My kids love the hotel "atmosphere". Will they be totally disappointed staying here? They are 9,12.

you kids will love it.

I don't know about daily housekeeping. okw charges $25 for a studio, $30 for a 1-bedroom - $40 per day for a 2-bedroom, $60 for a 3-bedroom.

some timeshare don't even offer it - but to be listed in AAA they have to offer it. Okay it is not listed.

so don't know.

they might never want to go back to the HOTEL atmosphere once they enjoy the openess of a 2 bedroom at Cypress Pointe

the resort is not LARGE and thus would be similar to a hotel experience IMHO

as to housekeeping...

www.cypresspointe.net

is the website, they might have info there....if not you could probably call or email them by using the CONTACT US on that webite ...

Can't answer your question on housekeeping we didn't have it nor want it. But I can assure you your kids will LOVE Cypress Pointe!! Lots of kids activities to keep them busy and they will surely love the "Volcano Pool" be sure to check it out at night when it has the red light on it and lookes like it's spewing lava. Plus you are maybe 5 minutes away from Downtown Disney. My kids loved it and want to go back but next year we are going to try staying at Vistana Resort, from what I've read on that they should love it too!! Have fun.

I don't think you have anything to worry about! It still had a hotel feel to me but just way way way better! We were there in May and will be returning in December. My dd loved it!

For anyone who might want to go this FRi 7/28 I was on Skyauction and the one week was going for 1.00 PLUS 195 in FEEs that makes 196 tax inc for a week!! If I was not already going on Friday I would definatly go for it!!

the 20$ processing fee for has to be added for this auction also

the resort is the 1 bedroom at Grand Villas too which is phase II

Once you go condo you can NEVER go back...I do not think I could do it even if it were free!! WEll maybe free but even then I would have to keep reminding my self it was free. Condo is the ONLY way to go.

I am an owner at Cypress Pointe Resort. There are two resorts - the original resort and one that was built a few years later called Cypress Pointe Grandevillas.

As an owner of the original, we have worked hard to develop a wonderful experience and I am very proud of the resort. As far as the original question - the resort does offer maid service. It would be about $75 for a three bedroom unit if I recall correctly for full service. You may find as most do that you do not miss having the maid come in when you have your own condo.

The unit that is up for auction is apparently in the Grande Villas. The one bedroom unit is set up to be like an efficiency hotel unit. I do not know very much more about it as I have little involvement.

Note that the part of the resort with the renovation and the Board of Directors who is so heavily involved in the operation of the resort is the original resort - Cypress Pointe.

We stayed at Windsor Hills and Cypress Pointe this past May and preferred WH. CP was nice too, but a little noiser, not as clean and it took a little longer to get to the parks due to all the traffic lights!
