Cypress Pointe

;) Sandy,
Thanks so much for posting the photos! We are going for the first time in May and staying in the Grand Villas. Now I am really excited, thanks again!

Great photos Sandy, thanks for sharing! We were there 3 years ago this week. I love the new decor, the couch looks alot nicer than when we were there. If we ever stay offsite again, I would stay there in a heartbeat!

Thanks Sandy for posting! I hope to have a good trip report in a couple weeks.

Thanks for the pictures, Sandy! The place looks great...Darn! Now everyone will want to stay there...LOL! ;)

C'mon, April!! :cool1: :Pinkbounc :cool1: :Pinkbounc

Great photos, Sandy! Thanks for posting them. Makes me feel a little better about doing CP this time after the Grand Villas in Nov. These look very nice also.

Thanks for sharing the pics. Were you in a 2 bdrm in CP or Grand Villas? If it was CP have they renovated all units? I tried Hotel Kingdom and all the only 2 bdrm they have avail is in CP. I hear the Villas are nicer. Is this true? How is the exterior and grounds at CP. IMHO CP look to be quite nice for the money. I'm feeling a little nervous about booking in CP vs. Grand Villas. We're going in April so I better book something soon. Its just so hard to decide. There are so many great places out there. I'd love to stay onsite but when you think about how much extra $ you save.....it just dosent seem worth it....plus I cant imagine being cramped up in a hotel room. Even if it is in Disney. My sis and family go at least once a year and stay usually in Deluxes and swear by it, I dont know but I guess because I have never stayed onsite I dont get the "Disney Magic" thing.

I've done onsite and offsite and I still feel the same way. "Magic" is feeling happy and warm inside, vacationing with your family, enjoying your time together, seeing your kid's face lite-up when they are having fun or seeing/doing something new or special. I feel the same "magic" whether onsite, offsite, at Disney or any other major vacation I've been on. Its a feeling that comes from within that no huge corporation like Disney can manufacture. sorry, off my soapbox now, lol.

The pics are from CP. The last buiding was closed and being renovated while we were there. From the outside, there is very little difference including the grounds, pools, etc. Our son preferred the CP pool as the others are quite plain. The resorts are side by side with the pools being a 3 minute walk from each other, they are that close. Our balcony faced one of the Grand Villas in fact. I checked it all out closely incase we stay there again and we both agreed (DH and I) that we were happy at CP. I don't think you could lose with either of them.

We have stayed on-site before and I would much rather give up a little of the magic for lots more space!!! There are several threads on the disney resort board about off-site missing the magic. I just don't see any magic about 4 people stuffed in a small room for a week.

Thanks for posting the pictures!! Now if June would just hurry!!
