We are considering staying at CPGV along with another family in April. I'm interested in any information anybody has regarding their recent stay there. How was the pool? Was the resort clean? Would you stay there again? We don't plan on doing any parks mayey just Downtown Disney, as we're only staying two nights before our cruise. The children range in age from 6 to 17. Thanks for the info.

We were supposed to stay there in Sept., but H. Jeanne happened.

My friends stayed there this past November and they LOVED it!! They had a two bedroom at the Grand villas. They called me while they were there and they were raving over the place. Had nothing bad to say about it. The pools were great and they would stay there again in a heartbeat!

You can look up info on hotelkingdom.com. They have pictures and stuff. What kind of rate are you getting??

We drove by it when we were down there. We were at the Vistana. Not too far away. It is close to DD. Have fun!

I am actually booking CPGV through Hotelkingdom. The rate is under $100 for the two-bedroom, which seems like a good deal. Maybe that's why I'm hesitating, thinking there must be something wrong with the place. I have read posts recently with only good things to say, so I am looking forward to staying there.
Thanks for the info.

There's nothing wrong with this resort. NIce family oriented, clean, safe as you are going to get in ORlando resort. Good locationnear dt disney and a stoplight to get you out onto SR 535.

Stayed in a l br week before last thru sky auction. Very nice and clean unit. Peeked in on a 2 br unit and they are huge. You can groceries at the Winn Dixie a block north.

This is a very nice resort, especially if you don't plan to spend a lot of time at WDW. Not too spread out, nice pool areas, mini-golf, park area. We had a 2BR at New Years Eve for $85/night. It is not too far from Downtown Disney, and my only recommendation is that you get a map to use to find it. Check-in area is actually at the Cypress Point part, not the Grand Villas section. That was the only snag we hit, finding where to check in at midnight.

It is not too good to be true!

Thanks for all the info everybody. I also found this resort on tripadvisor listed under Sunterra Cypress Pointe and was able to read many reviews there. We've booked it for April and will let everybody know how it is.
