Hello, :flower: to any of you who may have seen or stayed recently at Cypress Point (not the GrandVilla's) Resort, I have a question that I was hoping you may be able to answer.

The 1 Bedroom unit, is this a King size bed?

Do you think that a family of 4 can comfortably stay in that unit if one child sleeps in the bed and the other sleeps on an airmatress or a cot? Is there enough floorspace to do something like this? Does the resort rent cots I looked at the description of the rooms and there is not a pull out sofa? Is this correct?

The toddler who would be sleeping in the bed has slept comfortably with us on other trips so I know this would not really be an issue. Also, we will not be spending a whole lot of time in the room as we plan to be out every day.

Any thoughts? Thanks in advance for you help or suggestions.

You might be able to cram in there, it is a king bed and they do not rent cots but you would be exceeding their occupancy --- sleeps 2, can't tell you if it is inforced. Over at CPGVs you can get a 1br that does sleep 4 and has a pullout, maybe for $5 more or something near that on hotelkingdom.com.

Well, unless they have different room configurations, the one bedroom at CP is actually more like a studio and it does have a max occupancy of 2. It has only a king bed, no sofa bed. There is also no separate bedroom from a living area...it is like one large bedroom. Also, the bathroom area isn't fully enclosed...no privacy. Maybe okay for a couple. We stayed in the 3-bedroom, which was one of these units plus a 2-bedroom unit together. We put my MIL in the studio and she was quite comfortable there alone...but I think DH and I would prefer the privacy of a bathroom with doors. FYI, the master bedroom in the 2-bedroom unit has the same bathroom situation, but there was another bathroom in that unit (with a door! :) ) and you could also lock the bedroom door for privacy and others could hang out in the living/dining area. Hope this makes sense! :earboy2:
