Can't decide - going at the end of June and my company is picking up the tab for the hotel because I will be speaking at a conference for one afternoon. So it will be me, DH and DS who is 2. We aren't doing Disney because will be back on property in September. Which is the best for a toddler? Kiddie pool - zero depth - sprinklers? Do they offer cribs? Are there high pressure sales?

Thanks
Jamie

I'm familar with the two Marriott's and the SeaWorld HGVC (there's another, newer one on International Drive). All three are very nice resorts. I don't recall a zero entry pool at either Cypress Harbour or the HGVC though the pool areas are both are really great. I believe, but am not absolutely certain, that the childrens' pool at the new West Village side of Grande Vista is a zero entry. We don't have young children but I thought that area looked like it would be fun for the little ones.
The resort in this area of Orlando that has a terrific reputation as "the" pool area for young children is Horizons by Marriott that's across the street from Cypress Harbour.

I would also say Horizons for a 2 year old. We stayed at GV and the pool wasn't the best for toddlers. We also stayed at HGVC Sea World and loved it, but no zero entry pool. We are excited to try Horizons someday soon even if it isn't as "fancy" as some of the other Marriotts, it is much more little kid friendly.

HGVC on International Drive DOES have zero depth entry, and play fountains for little ones. Also I noticed they had really nice play structures that are covered so there is shade on sunny days, and cover during rain as well. It is a beautiful resort. You would probably get a call to attend a timeshare presentation but if you decline I think they will leave you alone.

We own at HGVC SeaWorld, and have stayed at both Seaworld and International Drive locations. The International Drive location would probably be more what you are looking for. They have the water play area where it shoots up from the ground. I know this location has dramatically changed since we went last (about 2 years ago, and there were only 2 buildings done at that time).
I didn't think the sales pressure was too bad with them. Not nearly as abusive as some others we've taken (i.e. Fairfield!).

We just returned from Grand Vista on Saturday. I didn't notice any zero entry pool but there are pop up fountains at the main pool. I have to say we thought the resort was beautiful and so clean. The staff was very accommodating. They did call us two times to try and take the tour but I didn't feel any pressure at all. My family will definately stay there again.
