I have three chiildren (ages 1, 5 and 9) and was wondering which place would be better for us.

Any pros/cons would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Can't comment on CP but CH is a fantastic resort and our favorite. Something for kids of all ages to do, great location, and beautiful.

very different places

cypress harbour is a marriott with all that implies.

Cypress Pointe is a Sunterra.

if you are looking for resort entertainment for your kids then go with the Marriott.

if you are looking for closer to WDW then go with Cypress Pointe.

both have very nice pools!

CP should be cheaper than CH - if it is not - then definitely go with CH.

CP is about as close to WDW as you can get and not be on site.

I agree with Spiceycat. Completely different resorts and I have stayed at both. Cypress Harbour resort is lush with beautiful grounds, a beach area, a ton of stuff to do as rental bikes, boats etc. They have a couple of different pools with a clubhouse etc. Really, beautiful and while closer to Seaworld- isn't that far from Disney.

CP suited our needs when we stayed there. The pool was nice enough and there is a game room. It's very close to Disney and walking distance to many restaraunts etc.

It had more of an apartment complex feel to it. The second bedroom was very small with two twin beds and it just didn't have the lush, 4 star feel of a Marriott resort. I hear the Granvillas are nicer but the complex is there with CP. It was nice enough but I'd definitely go with Cypress Harbour.

Good luck,
Jenn
