Cycling Races

I know Disney has a marathon but do they have a cycling race for the cycling enthusiast?

Not sure on the cycling alone but there is a Triathlon in September and possibly another one. Also starting this May is the Muddybuddy which a 2 person team if I recall the info correctly. 1 runs and the other cycles and then they switch BUT there are obstacles along the course but there is more details on this too on the Wide World of Sports.

Your best bet to see what sporting events Disney has that fit your bill would be found on their Wide World of Sports .....

The Triathon and Muddybuddy are found under the Endurance section. Also you can check in on the WISHES thread, main disboards page towards the bottom. The EVENTs sub-section is where alot of people who do the Marathon, Half, those that do Triathons can be found. I know a few of them enjoy cycling.

This is so funny to be reading now! LOL. My father has been a bicycle racer for years now! This weekend he is putting on a couple cycling races of his own. I am sure if there were any races like this invloving Disney, he'd know! lol. It is incredible all he has done with this sport.

It amazes me how some people associate this racing with the childish "ribbon on handles" "bell to ring" bikes. A friend of mine thinks this sport is "playing it safe" and that the most that can happen is a small cut. I'd like to see her get invloved with it and then she can see for herself the seriousness in it! lol, I suppose I am digressing too much lol.

Anyway, I don't think Disney does a cycling race, but I will check into it and reply back if I am proved wrong.
