I am not a big online shopper.

Are the deals that good? What have you gotten for Cyber Monday?

ETA...I had to go to Walmart.com. It is "cyber week". They have a nice Wii package for 249. I was watching QVC and they had a similiar package in the 300's. The QVC has a couple of extras but not enough for that price jump, imo, for a "deal".

I wasn't planning on buying anything but got an email from the performance hall at the university saying Young Frankenstein tickets were on sale for $35. Since I'd been planning on going, I went ahead and got 'em.

So, yeah, I bought myself a gift on cyber Monday. :lmao:

I'd already bought my DS15's laptop computer on Staples -- $499 for 3GB memory, 250 GB HD.

Today, BestBuy had the same brand, but 4GB memory, 320 GB HD for $399. I went ahead and ordered it, and will take the first back to a Staples store when the other arrives.

I will admit I know nothing about "cyber monday". So I went looking around and it appears that "cyber Monday" is about electronics?

I ordered my daughter some stuff from American Girl and my husbands grandparents something from Harry & Davids. Both stores have sales that are today only.

All types of stuff is on sale. The primary mode of purchase is online, hence the "cyber".

I've been poking around online and found a few things that I'm glad I bought on Friday. Nothing jumping out at me as a super-great deal.

It's more about shopping online in general. In other words, people are now trying to find stuff online that they didn't find on Friday. Most stuff is electronics, as that's where the big discounts come in. Laptops, digital cameras, ipods, etc. The "big ticket" item that "Santa" might not be able to bring if he has to pay the retail price.

I have been shopping already this morning. :goodvibes Lands End has these cute convertible SunLife pants that can either be full pants or capris - I got 2 pairs of those for our trip next month. I also had a code for free shipping, so with tax they were only $42! :thumbsup2 Score!

If anyone wants that Lands End free shipping code, PM me. There is no minimum order to qualify.

Happy Shopping everyone!

Originally it was set up mostly to sell computers at low prices and no tax, IIRC...then it expanded to electronics.... but as retailers always do, they keep expanding whatever makes them money.

Today I spent $400 on a new mixer for my DJ business... I bought it for the exact cost my supplier pays for it. And I also bought some lights.

I'm bummed...I was hoping to get a good deal on a Nintendo DSi for my dd but NO ONE has them on sale....ugh!

Walmart has a DS bundle for $149 at Walmart.com. You get:
Nintendo DS Lite
Choose Two Games
Choose Your Accessory Expression Kit

You would have to buy games anyways so maybe that is not a bad price?

She was looking for a DSi, which is different, because it has 2 built in cameras.

many of the apparel places do free shipping today, some with 20%off total purchase.

I just made my annual Harry and David's order for my family and ordered 9 baskets in all. The "Harvest Bounty Tower" was on sale today for $30 (plus $9 shipping) and the Great Value Gift Tower was only $20 (plus $5 shipping). I started my order though the Dell Perks link (anyone can join) for an additional 20% off. I got through check-out to just about the end where you put in your credit card and then closed the window. I then went to eBates and took their link for 6% back and my 20% savings was still there so I completed my order.

There was a code for free shipping floating around that was supposed to expire today but expired last week instead. That's OK ... saving $10 off 9 baskets PLUS the 20% off is a better deal for me anyway.

You may just be able to type in the code of "NJS" into the code field for your 20% off.

Same here. I've seen nothing that compares with the incredible deals I got on Friday.

Vera Bradley has some good deals. They have the large totes for $40.00. You can also get free shipping on all orders over $75.00. My mom and I each got totes, but put them on one order for the free shipping.
