CVS'ers...............Stores with CRT machines

OK so I have a cvs about a half mile down the road...it does not have a machine. BUT I am only about 6-7 minutes from one that does. Is it worth it to go there to scan my card at this machine?

I get alot on my register receipt, most are 10 off of 50. Is the 3 off of 10 cvs brands only? Because if not I could really use the 3 off of 10.

Please let me know if its worth driving up to this other store.

Thank you!!

People who get coupons, like you, often get other coupons from the machine too. It seem though that you will get your coupons anyway at your close store and the machine would give you a $3/10 CVS Brand and $1 off Divine cookies, so not worth it unless you were needing CVS Brand items. The coupons from the machine expire in a week.

A few updates from Chicago:

The one listed at 2 N. Riverside Plz., Chicago is actually at 400 W. Madison St., Chicago according to cvs.com. (It's really IN the 2 N. Riverdside building, though.)

The one listed on Lincoln Ave. is at 4051 N. Lincoln Ave., Chicago

NEW FIND: 130 S. Canal St., Chicago right by Union Station (wasn't working last time)

NEW FIND: 3343 W. Monstrose Ave., Chicago (has paper & works!)

As far as I know, all the CVS stores in Altamonte Springs, FL have scanner/coupon printing machines.

*GASP*
Where would these scanners be located? I have been to a few CVS in Altamonte Springs and I have never seen the scanners. Please can you give me details?????

On the machines that say they are out of paper - they often aren't. It's a software glitch and you have to unplug the two-prong cord and plug it back in each time. I wouldn't do this without asking though. If you see paper inside it, tell a store employee to try this.

Princess April, they are usually red boxes affixed to a poll somewhere near the pharmacy area or along the back wall of a store. It looks like a price checking machine.

Well, that explains why I have never seen them.... I rarely go to the back as I do not get my Rx's filled there. Also, I'm usually on a mission to get just want I need to max my ECB's and I have never really "wandered" around the store. See, I have been loosing out all this time!!!!!
Thanks for the insight!

They have them in every store here and they're all by the front door, not in the back. So it may vary depending on your location.

New ones near me:

Washington & Green Bay Road, Waukegan, IL

Washington & Rte. 45, Grayslake (Gurnee??), IL

Maggie

I was at the store at
1725 West Boughton Road
Bolingbrook IL

today and they have a machine right up front on the left side of the middle isle.

They also had a ton of the Colgate toothbrushes that are free after ECB. Of course I didn't have my coupons ( I was there just to pick up the B1G1 free sour Altoids for DH) but I bought them anyway. I figured that Free is Free. With my luck, they would have all been gone by the time I went home and got my coupons.

all of our stores here in southeast texas magically had them a week or so ago.... we went from none to every store in the area able to print coupons.

its cool!!!....cept i keep getting the same ol coupons no matter what.... 3/10 cvs brand and 1/1 absolutly divine cookies

not complaining mind ya....

....and another one in Meriden, CT. on West Main Street

The one in Hagerstown, MD..off of Wesel Blvd near the mall...now has one!

Kimya

Three more for your IN list, all in Noblesville...SR 37 and 131st, 146th and Hazel Dell, and Pleasant & Cumberland. I love those things! I just a coupon off one that's $3 off a $10 CVS brand pruchase and $1 off those Absolute Divine cookies...those seem to be what I always get. 1 of the stores is new and has it in the entry and the other two are older and have them on the end of an aisle.
