CVS Weekly 9/13-9/19

I ran out tonight to do the Reach deal so that I could use the $2/$10 oral care coupon from the Ready Fill book since it expires today (Sat).

3 Reach floss ($3.99 * 3 = $11.97)
-$2 / $10 oral care CVS coupon from Ready fill book (expired 9/12)
-$3 off 2 Reach floss
-$1 off Reach floss
-$6 ECB (she actually had to adjust it to $5.97)

I only had to pay .70 in tax plus I got back $6 in ECB.

I wasn't sure if the $3 off 2 reach coupon was good on the size mouthwash that was on sale. And I wasn't sure if the coupons would be good on the 2 pack of toothbrushes since they say "any reach toothbrush". So I just got the floss. I didn't leave my house until 9:45 and they close at 10, so I didn't have time to mess around!

I can't find the $1 off 2 purex coupons? In my ad it is .35 off 1. Is that the same one just different value for different area?
Is the Purex 3n1 included in the sale? I have $1 coupons for those. Has anyone tried the 3n1 things in a HE washer?

I tried to print the coupon tonight before I left for the store and no coupon came up after the quiz.

This Ready-Fill LINK works :)

Will coupons from this link beep as already used? There is no way to reset the flash. I shouldn't be such a worry wart, but I get so embarrassed when that happens. :guilty:

UPDATE: NEVERMIND -- I DID GO BACK AND TRY AGAIN AND WAS ABLE TO UPDATE THE FLASH. I MUST HAVE BEEN CLICKING OUTSIDE OF THE BOX THE FIRST TIME.

I think I can make a few deals happen this week, LOL. Not sure when I will get there though because we are probably going to Knoebels (theme park) tomorrow due to a rain out today and I start work on Monday! There were some advantages to being unemployed, LOL....

Congrats on the job, Puffkin! I understand what you are saying. Since I've been back to school my CVS deals have been few and far between. Luckily they are opening a new store five minutes away from me soon. :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: Then I'll be able to do some late night runs!

Thanks! As much as I want (and need) to go back, my leisurely weekday runs are unfortunately over. Where is the new store near you that is being built?

I missed the new job news - that's great! Hope you have a fun day at the theme park today :)

I noticed in my ad today it says "Get $25 in coupons! Ask your pharmacist about ReadyFill". I wonder if a new book is coming out? They had to know the coupons expired before this ad even came out??

Also, there is an ad at the top of page 10 that says "Don't risk it. Get a Flue Shot. Receive a $100 coupon book.* *No purchase necessary." Has anyone seen this book?

And, if you missed out on the Schick Quattro BOGOF sale last week at CVS, Walgreens has them BOGOF this week. And it includes men's titanium too, so you can use the men's coupon too. I ordered coupons for last Week's CVS sale but they didn't come until Friday night. So I only had Saturday to track down 12 boxes. I still had 8 coupons left, so I am glad Walgreens is having their sale too!

YAY! Glad to hear about the job, Puffkin!:cheer2:
That didn't seem like too long at all to find. Are you pleased with it? I hope all goes well. Best of Luck on your first day tomorrow! :flower3:

LanaJae, will this one beep if we used one a few weeks ago and I didn't reset anything (flash? Something else?) because I don't have a right/left on my mouse?

Do you think Woodbury will take an expired coupon from the Ready-fill book ($2 off $10 oral care)?

The new store is in the exciting metropolis of Womesldorf! It is right on 422 -- looks like a big one! Everytime we drive by my son says, "Look at your CVS mommy." :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

I don't know if it will be different - that's a good question - I would just try it and see what happens - if they say you've used it, then just say something like then I need to put some of this stuff back and they'll probably just push it through.

I think those ready-fill booklet coupons will scan without beeping for another 2 weeks like other CVS coupons. For sure the old Woodbury store will take it whether it beeps or not, probably the new one too.

Lol, that is too cute. I don't get out that way much....but good to know where all the stores in the area are!

Thanks everyone on the job wishes! It took me just shy of 3 months to find something....but it was nice to have the summer off. This is a temp-to-perm position. We have already negotiated out the perm salary and the temp "trial period" should be about 2 months. I am 99.9% sure the job will go perm....but I don't want to get too excited until it does. The money and benefits are a bit less than I wanted, but the location is really convenient and that was a huge issue for me. The company is growing (they sell business systems and services) and the people seem nice so hopefully it is a place with lots of room to go. I am just glad that the search is finally over!

Here is what I did today. We were out of Cascade, so I had to get that. And my DD "desperately needed" liquid eyeliner.

Cascade 2.99
Colgate Total Toothpaste 2.99
Wet n Wild liquid eyeliner 2.99
Jack's Beef tenderloin jerky 5.99
Jack's Beef tenderloin jerky 0.00 (BOGOF)
SoBe Water 1.79
SoBe Water 0.00 (BOGOF)
Energy Shot 4.99
Energy Shot 4.99
=$26.73
-$5/$25 CVS ready fill coupon
-$1 colgate coupon
-$5.99 Jack's beef jerky coupon (BOGOF coupon)
-$1.59 SoBe water printable coupon (BOGOF)
-.25 Cascade Coupon
-$10 ECB
=$2.90 plus tax

I got back $9.98 in ECB for the energy shots and $2 for the Colgate.

I only got the energy shots to boost my total up to $25 so I could use the $5/$25 coupon. I don't know what I am going to do with these! I usually give my unwanted stuff like Soy Joys to the college students, but I am not sure I want to be liable if something happens with these energy shots.
