I got that hair dryer a couple of days ago.
Thanks for the Ecotrin coupon. DH takes one of these each day. I had used all my insert coupons.
After last weeks great deals I expected something pretty lame this week. But this is much worse than I thought!
Bright and early Sunday morning I got to CVS to look for Hawaiian Tropic Sunscreen. I was the only one in the store. When I walked in the asst manager waved and I waved back. I scanned my card but no coupons were available - bummer! I looked for sunscreen but only found oil. Looked for the clearance paper towels someone mentioned, but only found CVS towels. Checked out diaper prices because its a habit but found nothing.
So after 5 minutes I left. As I am getting in the car I notice the manager has followed me outside watching me and writing something down. I could be crazy but it looked like he was writing down my license plate numberMaybe I have a guilty conscience because I almost never pay anything out of pocket?
Nothing ever came of it that I know of.NOT CVS: If anyone needs a hair dryer, Walgreens has the Revlon pink ionic on mega saver for $12.99 and you earn a $10 Register Reward. It has to be the pink breast cancer awareness one for the $12.99 price. ShiPooOwner, there were 2 left in Oakdale tonight. You can select "check my store" on this link to see if there are any in stock near you: http://www.walgreens.com/store/prod...unt=1&nug=VPD&skuid=sku2629680&id=prod2630243
To lower the price a little more, buy a 45 count Ecotrin on sale for $2, use the $2 mfg. from the 5-17-09 Smart Source, pay $0 and earn a $2 Register Reward to use towards the hair dryer. There is a $2 Ecotrin printable here too: http://coupons2.smartsource.com/smartsource/index.jsp?Link=BH4C2Y36WLYZE

I've been trying to WAGS and Rite Aide a little as well. I really am growing to hate WAGS. Last night I did the ecotrin, used the $2.25 coupon, got two boxes of vanilla wafers that were supposed to be marked to $2.49 and the $3 RR wyb 2 is still tageed and active. Used the coupon & a $2 RR... Paid the extra.... nothing. The RR machine got hit by lightening. It's always something here with them. The RR aren't printing, and frankly I'm loosing money there. I'm going to return the stuff today.
Rite Aid refuses their own coupons, even though the website says transfre your scripts & get $50 they will only let you get one of the $25 GC. I transfreered another one and they refused so I told them to unfill it and send it back to CVS. Their deals suck and I have a $25 GC that I want to use online, but you can't.
I'm sticking to CVS from now on

Mine does too, there's another coupon, but it's for $2.25 and not all stores will adjust them down, it's here in case it will work for you: http://coupons2.smartsource.com/smartsource/index.jsp?Link=5S2ZUA6PWPEPO
I got one today. Returned all the stuff from my busted trip, had them put it on a GC... Used it to buy this, then an excedrin & a clearanced digital photo keychain.. Which I may take back... they refused the $2.25 coupon :-(

GREAT!I wasn't planning on hitting CVS this week, but then I saw the 5 off 25 coupon and decided to give it a go. Here is what I did:
I bought
-2 Aveeno SPF 50 positively ageless sunscreen 8.99 each
-1 Aveeno small tube of lotion (3.5 oz I believe) 3.39
-1 J&J first aid kit (in travel aisle) .99
-1 Lumene vit c cream 2.99
-2 Campbell's tomato soup .50 each
Minus these coupons
$5 off $25
-$1 off 2 campbell's soups
-$1 off J&J first aid
-$5 Lumene scanner coupon
-$5 off 2 Aveeno positively ageless
-$1 any Aveeno
-7 extra bucks
total = $1.99
Got back $10 extrabucks
So I actually had a profit of $1.01! Not too shabby.

So, now when I shop there next time, can I use these ECB for anything? There are a few exclusions like alcohol, tobacco, presciptions, gift cards, and stampsCan I use it for items that then give ECB's? Yes
There is a deal for Covergirl makeup (spend $15, get $3 ECB). I have $4 in coupons. Does the $15 count before or after the coupons are applied? The total is BEFORE coupons which is what makes CVS-ing such a good deal.
Thanks for the help.

okay, will someone help me pout here? CVS just bought the Long chain in our area, and we now have the CVS benefits (the card, ECB, etc)
So, I went to Long/CVS and got a card. I purchased 2 sunscreens, a Gillette Fusion, 2 Always Pads and 2 Pantene Hair Care Products. I spent $33 (gulp) and received $14 (I think) in ECB.
Makes sense so far, right?
