CVS Weekly 5/3-5/9

I went to Wags and managed to roll my RR into Oreos!!! I started with $14 in RR (a $3, a $6 and a $5) I did two oreos used the $6 and paid tax, then two oreos the toothpaste, used a $1 coupon, and the $3 and $5... paid $0.98 then I did the toothpaste, used a coupon, and a 10 cent pack of peeps, used the $3 from the original oreo and paid the $2.xx on a gc... Walked out with 4 packs of oreos, 2 toothpastes, and a pack of peeps, and $4.50 RR, $4.50 RR and $3.00 RR... Not too shabby and now we have oreos. I wanted the cakesters but they didn't ring up right, so I had them take them off.

The cashier probably thought, "She's going to need this toothpaste after eating all these oreos and peeps!" Too bad you didn't throw in a free diabetes meter too.

I have two coupons for free Right Guard deodorant (found on the freebie thread last week). I'd like to go ahead and get them, but w/my luck the week after I did, there would be some sort of ECB deal w/Right Guard that I'd miss out on.

Does CVS ever have any Right Guard CVS deals??

Do you have a Walgreens locally? They have buy 1 Right Guard get a 2RR. You'd have to do 2 transactions to use both your coupons and you can't roll the first RR into the second deal.

So you're saying I can't use the RR I got from the first deo. into buying the second one, right?

They do let you use both of the RR for the same purchase at a later date on a different item though, right?

You can use both of them later on a different item but it would have to be 2 items, 1 per coupon. Plus, if you use a manufacturer's coupon on either item you would have to buy a small filler or it will not accept the RR. So, the number of RR + manu. coupons less than the total number of items.

Anyone know if CVS sells Target or Babies R Us gift certificates? Will be running short on time tonight and have to stop there for an rx and won't have time to stop anywhere else.

Just a heads up -

Check your expiration dates on your cereal.

Mine were fine although not great - they expire in October, but my neighbor got home with 6 boxes and they all expired in March 2009 !!

I know this has been discussed before but thought I'd mention it again.

my card just stopped working at the scanner for the coupons- but it works at the register... anyone else ever had this happen? they had to issue me a new card. it would give an error message at the red scanner.

For those of you near a Shaws supermarket, CVS has FUSE BOGO coupons on their fridge doors, and Shaws has FUSE as a BOGO this week. That makes the FREE when you use you coupon!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for the tip, I grabbed some coupons at CVS and will use them at Shaws!!.

I just had a great deal with the Adidas Intensive line. In the store in said 3.99 (with the $3 back ECB and $1 coupon for free) but when I brought it to the cash register it said it was only $1.26. BEFORE the $1 coupon! Also, it printed out the $3 ECB as well.

Also got a great bonus - a $10 on $20 beauty supplies!!! I guess I know where I will be shopping for sun tan lotion for our Disney trip! Anyone have any recommendations on great non greasy sun tan lotions???

I love the neutrogena spf 30 for sensitive skin. Soaks in well and we never burn and are fair-skinned.

MAGGIEW glows too! well at least she did last year!

Maggie: did you buy the Natural Glow too? c'mon... everyone does it.

Smiller thinks I look stupid in the Natural Glow but when I have too much chardonnay I still look refreshed in the morning because I'm glowing. Really, the stuff is amazing.

Oooooh, I'll tell you about my deals today:

1. Bought four 12 packs of coke and three 2 liters $20 get $10
Got 2 Jergens Natural Glows $16.00 (5.00) -1.00 cpn
Max Fresh $2.99 (2.00) - 1.00 cpn

Paid like $38.00 OOP since I only had $1.00 ECB

I know this is horrible CVS form...but whatever.

Then with my bucks I bought cascade, charmin, kleenex and Always. Very fun and practical!

Okay, I think I only have $1 ECB left and well, yeah... those were my CVS deals.

And now Since summer vacations are coming up, CVSers please take pics of yourselves in the lobby of your resort with your cards. It is the new tradition, right?

I'll post our pic again when we get to OKW in July. Yay!
