Cvs weekly 3/28-4/03

I went to the store tonight to finish up a candy deal (only had to spend $3.50 to get $3 back) and I also tried to to the CoverGirl deal on the overlap since the sale prices worked today only. The $8 extra buck didn't print, but they manually did it. I got two more of the CG/Olay that were $10.

I have one more BOGO coupon left so maybe will try again tomorrow and find some to donate since the $5/20 should bring it down to free after extra buck.

Just when I've vowed to not set foot into a Wags again, they produce a couple good catalina weeks. :headache: I ran into that nasty mgr. at the I94/White Bear Avenue store a couple weeks ago that you told me about once. He was giving this really elderly man (about 85 years old I'd guess) a hard time about returning a can opener. I don't think the man had the receipt but the mgr. was just being a real jerk. I paid for my photo developing and kept my mouth shut, but I really wanted to tell him how lousy his attitude was and how he belittled that poor man and how I never wanted to shop at another Wags because of HIM.

So I vowed that was the last trip to a Wags, especially THAT Wags. Then my DH came down with a bad cold and I couldn't resist the catalina deal last week for Nyquil and DayQuil so now I have $10 RR to roll. It looks like I could use it on Dove and Simply Saline. Why do I do this to myself? I'm obviously a hopeless dealaholic with a guilty conscience! :guilty:

Anyway, thanks for the scenarios, LanaJae, but WHY were you up at 3 A.M. figuring out WAGS deals anyway? :scared1:

Thanks so much :worship: LanaJae, you are awesome!!!

I don't know why I was up figuring out this LOL! I'm glad you both might be able to use some of this stuff. My son has to take Miralax (or equivalent), so I was all over that Dulcolax deal so that was probably the motivation.

ShiPoo, that man is pure evil. Many of the elderly people in that area don't have cars and rely on Walgreens for their food too and most of them are poor. Someday I am going to get brave and take my son's tiny video camera in the store to record some of the stuff I see. Then I can sell it to CVS :rotfl2:

Here is my transaction for today:

Stayfree 24 pack Maxi regular (UPC380040927001) $3.89
Cover Girl loose powder 5.99
Cover Girl loose powder 5.99

I got back $8 for Cover Girl and $2 for the Stayfree (not in ad).

Aw that just makes me so sad I could cry, and just sick to hear. Managers like that should not have jobs!!!
Those dear older folks could be our grandparents, aunts, uncles, parents! They should be treated with respect.
I hope someone calls the Home Office and rats on him. Or any manager or clerk that is rude.
Thats just unacceptable and sad. And one day, we'll be there too. (If we're lucky, or we'll be dead! :scared1:)

Nice Job!

I actually went to the CVS today.

I bought:
2 huggies (I had 2 $2 coupons, I used the printables at Target)
3 diet cokes
Scott extra soft :cloud9: (1.00 off coupon)
4 bags of Jelly beans that I started to eat in the car on the way home.

Since I had to start out today, I spent over $30:teacher: but I got my $8 in ECBs so I'm excited to start again.

I need some Jergens Natural Glow soon. I'm looking pasty!:sad2: Hopefully that will be on sale somewhere soon!

Hi Ladies...I ended up doing pretty well today. I did the Oral B toothbrush (BOGO coupon and $1 man.), Carefree (BOGO coupon), Sparkle towels ($1 man.), and the diapers. I used the $3 pullups CRT, a $2/$10 baby products CRT and two $3 (manuf). On my other card I did the same deals except I added in a the Stayfree (2 $2 man) and did Goodnites instead of diapers.

It ended up costing me about $10, but I really needed papertowels and the goodnites. I got the diapers to add to baby shower gifts coming up.

I tried to do the Revlon deal with the $7/$15 purchase but they would only let me use the CRT and 2 $2 coupons. I had them void those off. I didn't need the makeup but a little ticked the deal wouldn't work :confused3

Rite Aid has been the pits the last couple of weeks. Only stopped in to get the new monthy flyer (they didn't even have it anyway) and then just bought the BIC razors since I was there anyway. Wouldn't have made a special trip just for that.

You mean you don't have any left???

Maggie

No! :headache: I slathered myself like crazy with that stuff the past 2 years. I only have a trial size of the face stuff that is almost empty.

I'm eating the Jelly Beans again. :sad2: I knew I shouldn't have bought them! Next thing you know I'll be hiding them in my bathrobe pockets eating them all morning long too.:scared1:

My Walgreens week so far..

Started with a $10 Walgreen’s gift card.

First transaction, I bought a Dulcolax for $10, used a $4 coupon. Paid $6 on my gift card, earned a $10 Register Reward.

Second transaction, I bought a Simply Saline for $7, used a $1 coupon; bought a Dove shampoo for $4, used a $1.50 coupon; bought Dentek floss, used a $1 coupon; bought 4 Easter tumbler glasses on sale 8/$1 with ad coupon. Paid with my $10 Register Reward from first transaction and $0.48 on my gift card and earned a $7, $4 and $2 Register Reward.

Third transaction, I bought a Dulcolax for $10, used a $4 coupon; bought 8 Easter gift bags on sale 8/$1 with ad coupon. Paid with my $7 Register Reward from Simply Saline in the second transaction and $0.07 on my gift card and earned a $10 Register Reward.

Fourth transaction, I bought a Simply Saline for $7, used a $1 coupon; bought a Dove conditioner for $4, used a $1.50 coupon; bought Dentek floss, used a $1 coupon; bought 4 Easter tumbler glasses on sale 8/$1 with ad coupon. Paid with my $10 Register Reward from third transaction and $0.48 on my gift card and earned a $7, $4 and $2 Register Reward.

Fifth transaction, I bought a Dulcolax for $10, used a $4 coupon; bought 4 Easter tumbler glasses on sale 8/$1 with ad coupon; bought Dove Intensive Repair for $4, used a $1.50 coupon. Paid with my $7 and $2 Register Rewards from my fourth and second transactions and $0.34 on my gift card and earned a $10 and $4 Register Reward.

Sixth transaction, I bought a Simply Saline for $7, used a $1 coupon; bought a Dove Intensive Repair for $4, used a $1.50 coupon; bought Biotene toothpaste for $4.99, used a $2 coupon (I wanted this) ; bought 6 Easter gift bags on sale 8/$1 with ad coupon. Paid with my $10 and $2 Register Rewards from fifth and fourth transactions and $0.94 on my gift card and earned a $7 and $4 Register Reward.

At this point, I have $1.46 left on my gift card and $23 in Register Rewards. I am out of Dove and Dentek coupons.

I can continue to roll Simply Saline and Dulcolax and to burn up what’s left on my gift card by buying Dulcolax for $10 and using a $4 coupon; and 8 Easter gift bags or tumblers on sale 8/$1 with ad coupon and paying with my $7 Register Reward from Simply Saline and $0.07; and then buying Simply Saline and using a $1 coupon and Dove without a coupon and paying with my $10 Register Reward from Dulcolax and pay $0.78 and still end up with an extra $4 Register Reward on the Dove each time. For 24 cents of real money in addition to the spent $10 gift card, I’ll quit with $34 in Register Rewards and $170 in products. Then I can use that $34 to buy anything in the store I want and I’ll donate the stuff I don't want.

This is insane! I love it! :goodvibes I live a block from a Walgreens but I rarely go there. They don't even know how to "down" a coupon and it makes me crazy. I think smiller had a throwdown with the manager :mic: while I was recovering too. We quit Walgreens.:headache:

LOL - you are good all by yourself. I heard from a friend in Ohio about someone she knew in MN who was calling that manager evil too, all without knowing about you and I. How weird is that? Oh, I didn't go to that store, are you surprised?:lmao:

I would be arrested at the mere thought of wanting a coupon adjusted down. It's impossible at Walgreens, you might as well ask them to hand over all the cash in their drawer. I had issues each time the Dulcolax transactions hit zero because there's no tax on it, so I was only paying the 7 cents tax on the gift bags.

I haven't been there since Christmas, but I couldn't pass up this sale with my son needing that stuff, don't blame you or smiller for quitting, it's not fun like CVS.

Walgreens is so UN-FUN! I didn't know they didn't adjust coupons. It wasn't pretty.

Only a month until my little DD's first trip to Disney!:cutie: I'm getting very excited. We're trying 3 new resorts (we're nuts) going to POR and then WL and then onto BLT. Today was the day I had smiller here all day for help, and I told her that we're taking pics in the lobby with our CVS card. I promise! Good times!:cool2:
