I just had to tell you guys about my trip today. CVS has not been a top priority for me the last few months. One card had a little over $3 on it. Tonight I turned that into $24.

So excited then I saw the MIR for SC Johnson and now can't find where I put my receipt for Glade.

It is good to have that CVS high again.

Merry CHristmas to all! I really appreciate everyone's input on these threads, as you have made a huge difference in our budget. Its been a rough year financially, as i know it has been for many, and i'm truly very grateful for all the help received here. So thanks once again!!

And now may i ask another question please?

Last year, someone wrote a cute little poem to go with the basket of goodies they were giving as a winter-survival or care package. Does anyone remember that? Or have other ideas? My brain is fried

I'm putting together a few big baskets for 'starving college kids', or whatever the slang is? and would like to write and attach something to it.

Lumene $3.99 (shelf was marked $2.99 but I didn't argue since I was using a $5 CRT and didn't want to draw attention)
-.75 Crest coupon
-$1 Thermacare CRT
-$2 Revlon coupon
-$5 Lumene CRT
-$4 ECB
-$6.99 ECB
-$8.29 ECB
-$5 off $30 from Medicare Quiz
Subtotal $1.13 (didn't count on extra $1 from Lumene)
IL 7.0% tax $1.69
Total $2.82

I got back $1 ECB Lysol + $3 ECB Listerine + $12.45 ECB Thermacare + $10 ECB Revlon + $2 ECB Crest

Spent $2.82 OOP plus $19.28 ECB and got back $28.45 in ECB

WHen you go on Saturday and are able to do the two deals, does the register automatically do sale price PLUS print out the ecbs? TIA! Merry Christmas?

Sometimes the computer picks what it thinks is the best deal. Sometimes its to the customer benefit, sometimes it can screw up a deal.
