CVS & RiteAid Savings weekly 1/23-1/29

anyone able to get more than 1 ECb offer on the coke? My local ad clearly states limit one and I'm nervous to try it

WOW 1.99 for a curling iron:woohoo::woohoo: Good buy!

Yes. All the ads say Limit 1. It will work up to 4 times, though. Just buy each deal in a separate transaction. Sometimes the limit is actually more than what is printed in the ad. I think its the same for the Crest mouthwash deal. It says limit 1 in ad (I think, don't have it in front of me) but it works for 2. I did this one personally so I know it works. If, for some strange reason, you don't get the ECB on the second round of coke (but you will) you can always just return the coke.

Here is a picture of the mini curling iron. The flat iron and crimper are very similar. They were in a plastic blister pack hanging on hooks.

There is a picture of the package on the Kmart Black Friday ad. They are on the page about halfway down on the same page with the popcorn gift set, the hot cocoa gift set, etc. They are $14.99 in the Ad and say "$14.99 Sale Conair". There are the 3 types shown there.

WOW thanks. I wish I could get these. The Toys for Tots were looking for items for teens. They were looking for makeup stuff for teen girls. I bet these would be great:love:

I was able to do the Coke deal twice before it said offer limited reached. I wish I could do it 4 times but was happy to stock up on Diet Coke.

I haven't been keeping up on the discussion about the coke deal on hotcouponworld, so I am not sure about why your coke deal was limit 2. But sometimes corporate "discovers" that there is an issue - like the computer is letting limit 4 when really they intended it to be limit 1 - and then they change the limit mid-week. Doesn't happen often, but once in awhile you find that a deal has changed mid week. Usually in terms of limits or also sometimes when trial items, etc are counting.

Thanks, I wondered if it was something like that or maybe even a regional thing.

Someone on hotcouponworld is reporting the same thing. She did the deal once on Sunday, twice on Monday. The receipt from Monday still did not say offer limit reached. She went today to do the 4th deal and the ECB didn't print PLUS the receipt showed offer limit reached.

Good to know, because I was about to go back for more for my 2nd deal.

I've been CVSing for awhile now but wondering if there's a way to tell exactly how many times we can do it?
(oher than asking a clerk LOL ;)

Its usually the limit listed in the ad. But sometimes it is more. You can tell either by reading here or looking at the bottom of your receipt to see if it says "Offer limit reached".

Right, I understand all that, but wondered if there was a way to tell *before* you check out, like with the coke, since their ad said one thing, but others found it to be different, so IOW, no one really knows *for sure* -- kwim?

I only want to do the coke deal again IF its a deal. Because I can find it cheaper somewhere else if I can't do the deal again.

You can buy something small first before you get the coke and check if it says "Offer limit reached" on the bottom of your receipt for the coke deal.
