CVS & RiteAid Savings weekly 1/23-1/29

bumping from page 4!

Wish I had cashed in for coke coupons from mycokerewards.com. Oh well. thinking I might buy 7 cases of coke and 1 2 liter. Spend $15.50 - 5 ECBs back = $10 or less than $1.50 per case. Pretty good. Since my DH guzzles coke!
:worship: thanks

Looks like the Coke limit is higher than 1. I bought them last night and receipt does NOT say "offer limit reached."
 WOW I think I will stock up for Feb vacation with a house of teens.

I need Coke so I guess I will do that deal. And pick up the free stuff while I am at CVS. Not much really great at Rite Aid this week but I'll stop in for the free light bulbs. We can always use those.
Ya Riteaid was too exciting this week. There is a limit on the light bulbs of 6 so I am going to run in for those:thumbsup2

Thanks, Flaky!

Coupons are available for Clean & Clear here:

 YES!! thanks

The limit is 2 on the Crest Pro-Health or Pro-Health Complete rinse 16.9oz $3.99 Get $3.99 Limit 1 FREE after ECB

Lots of free mouth wash...:thumbsup2
Hi Caitty:lovestruc thanks I will change it:thumbsup2

I was able to use thte $2 off the Crest Pro Health rinse from the PG insert from a couple of weeks ago. $2 MM.

I did not use the coupon. The coupon clearly stated the size on it. The bottle you purchased was way smaller than the one the coupon was for. This is one of the reasons the stores are getting tougher when accepting
coupons.

Maybe she didnt see it:confused3 I think most people are trying to play by the rules. It is up to the store if they take it or not.

Lets keep this thread friendly please:lovestruc

Any prescription gift card coupons out there? Sadly my DD got 2 prescriptions today.

Also, does CVS have the cheap generic prescription deal? Her doctor prescribed famotisine (sp?) for acid reflux and it seems to be on the Target $4 generic list.

Thanks,
Maggie

Sorry for the stupid question, but I'm new at this. Yesterday, I bought $25 worth of Charmin and Puffs products and got $10 ECB. Aside from the obvious no giftcards, no alcohol, etc. what can I spend the ECB on? For instance, could I spend it on Coke this week and still earn the ECB on Coke?

Thanks!

Aside from the items like you mentioned where you cannot use ECBs to pay for them...you can use ECBs on anything else! And rolling ECBs like you're talking about is the best way to get the most out of the CVS program. Personally, I only roll as many as I'm getting back...but that is just personal preference. So, if I was getting $5 back from the Coke deal today, I would use $5 in ECBs that I had earned on a previous deal. Does that make sense??

I havent seen any rx coupons here in ma. However, I do know CVS does take ones from Walgreens, Target and Riteaid If I find any I will post them but I cant seem to find even one:confused3 What happens to them:confused3

About the $4 prescriptions. My DD had a script for amoxicillin. which is on the $4 list from Walmart. For some reason the insurance info in CVS computer was wrong for my DD. ANd I had to call the insurer to get it fixed. Not a couple of minute thing. The best they would do for me was charge me cash. It was $31.99. I asked if they price matched walmart. I was told no. The only thing they offered me was to get my insurance fixed and then bring the receipt back with correct insurance and get a refund. I could've taken the script and gone to Walmart. But the nearest one is 20+ mins from me. And I had all ready waited 2x at the pharm for the script for total 1 hour. So i just paid and left. I did get the refund. But that wasn't too quick either.

Just my experience with price matching. I bet every store is different.

The last 3 scripts I've had filled (within the week actually, DD has pneumonia ) I've taken to Walgreens. It's new in my town. Not psychotically busy like CVS. It has been great.

WOW limit 4 on the coke....:banana::banana: I could stock up for months. better get to CVS today and get some more.

I called the CVS pharmacy today to ask if they have a $4 generic prescription list like Target. He said that they have some program we can enroll in (for $15 per year) and then a 90 day supply of the generic prescription is $11.99. Sounds similar to the Target $4 generic (in terms of price) but you have to pay the fee.

WOW:sad2: Seems a little nuts.:headache::hug:

There is a $10 prescription coupon from the 1/9 Target insert. I just used it on a prescription today at CVS since they match competitors' prescription coupons!

I got my daughter's generic prescription filled today at CVS. I was about to fill out the paperwork to joing their generic prescription drug program (for $15) when I happened to ask how much it would be with my insurance.

Insurance: $10 for 90 day supply
Generic drug program: $11.99 for 90 day supply + $15 enrollment fee

Duh! Glad I asked.

Other good news.

The Crest ProHealth is limit 2. I got in separate transactions just in case.

I found the mini-hairstyler things that someone mentioned in a previous week's thread. They were $1.99 each!!! Originally $19. (The sign still says $19) They were hanging in a side rack thing (near endcap but not on endcap). They were in the center aisle of the back of the store where they have the As-seen-on-tv stuff. I got the mini curling iron, the mini flat iron and the mini crimper. I figure I will put them in my 2 teen girls' Easter baskets. :cool1:

DiGiorno pizza is BOGOF. Originally $6.99 each. I thought that was a good deal. I like to have a couple on hand for a quick bite to eat if we have nothing planned and don't want anything big.

I got a CRT that was $5 off 2 Revlon products. That will be good with the Revlon deal this week.

I know its late in the day, but if you did the coke deal this week, MyCokeRewards is giving double points for codes today (1/25). I read it might only be the regular coke. The other varieties are giving regular points.

Good thing you asked.:teacher: BOGO Pizza is a good deal. Some say they found coupons:idea: I have a 4/20 so I think I will use that towards the pizza. Use my free razor coupon too so the $4 will go towards free pizza:banana: I got the Revlon crt I hope when I go back today I will get it agian:banana: Can you tell me what the Hairstyler thing looks like. It sound like a great thing to get:dance3:

In last week's coupons there were some coupons on Revlon products.

Here is a picture of the mini curling iron. The flat iron and crimper are very similar. They were in a plastic blister pack hanging on hooks.

There is a picture of the package on the Kmart Black Friday ad. They are on the page about halfway down on the same page with the popcorn gift set, the hot cocoa gift set, etc. They are $14.99 in the Ad and say "$14.99 Sale Conair". There are the 3 types shown there.
