I did it today with much success! I figured at $5 each is still a deal. Walmart has it for $7! so I had my coupon and said "I dont know if this will work but I am going to try!" She said "oh yeah it works. Someone did it earlier" she rang it up no problem. WOOT!! $2.50 Zhu zhu pets? <sigh> and they arent ONLY the normal ones. My store had the kung zhu ones, the wild side (or something like that) ones and the long haired ones too.

I did this deal the other day. I bought 2 kung zhu's, 1 armor and a wild bunch zhu zhu plus I had a 5/30 coupon and the buy 2 get 1 coupon. Got everything for around $5.00, I bought other things so I am not sure of exact price.

I picked up 4 King Zhu's - one for my dd10's stocking another for my 5 yr old nephew, a reserve gift for dd's buddy, and one for toys for tots. Since I used the cvs card that I just signed my mom up for I also had a 4 off 20- so I got all 4 for $6.30! Very happy for inexpensive stocking stuffers!

I just got back and got four for 4.88 (total) plus tax!!!! I checked my CVS card at the scanner and it printed a $1 off any Zhu Zhu pet coupon and I had a $4 off $20 (I also bought a Subway gift card for my mom so it was over $20) in addition to the buy 2 get one free coupon! So needless to say I was very excited! Thank you OP for posting the CVS deal and thank you Maggie for the link to the coupon!

Why wouldn't my cvs let me do this deal? I was so excited and then they wouldn't take the coupon....I asked again and they scanned it and said it's not allowing it go thru b/c they are already on sale. It was in the fine print "not allowed with any other cvs offer"...boo!
