CVS ECB questions

I have had an extra care card forever, but I just now realized about all the deals. I went to look at my account and I don't understand all of it. Could someone please help me? This is what it says, can you tell me what it means?

There is a CVS thread somewhere with a lot of information about the ECB's.

The QTR spending you see in your account online is the amount you've spent during that QTR - CVS will give you back 2% of what you spend after that QTR ends - I just got my 2% from the 1st QTR last week.

Each week in the CVS ad you will see dollar amounts that you will get back if you buy that product or multiple products - whatever the deal is.........as of April 1 these ECB's will print out immediately when you buy the products - they are like cash.

What I do each week is go through the ad and see what I want to buy, check my coupons from the Sunday papers because usually there will be a coupon for some of the products CVS has in their ad. I use the Mfg.'s coupons on the items that CVS will give me back ECB's on thus usually getting that item for FREE or almost free...........the next week I'll have XXX amount of ECB's and I try to purchase only those items getting more ECB's..........rolling them over each week is what saves you the most money.

I can say that over the last month, I've purchased like $144.00 worth of items but only paid like $24.00 out of pocket.

The first time you shop - you will spend money to get the ECB's started but after that first time, your out of pocket expense will be less and less and less.

I spend a lot of time on the weekend with the new CVS ad and my coupons planning out my attack for the week, LOL!!!

I have never ever gotten so much stuff for almost FREE - after a month I have a stock of Shampoo, Conditioner and makeup to last several months.....this week CREST is one of the ECB items - the price is $2.77 and you will get back $2.77 in ECB's thus making if FREE - add a coupon for Crest that I got out of last Sunday's paper for $1.00 and your actually making money.

Read the other CVS thread and see what people are buying each week - I know I list my purchases each week for others to see.

OP - I just saw that you actually have an ECB for $1.50 that's good until May - print that out and you can use that next time your in CVS.
