CVS ECB deals - Sales for Week 7/29-8/4

CRT print out after your transaction - sporadic with no rhyme or reason but you can also find CVS coupons with product in your store as well as mfg coupons too. My store just installed those blinkie machines so you can find them there but they also just throw them on the shelf too in between the products.

How many Olay Ribbons do I have to buy to use all my coupons?

I have:
$6 off 3 Olay (I have 2 of these)
$3 off 2 Olay (I have 2 of these)
$1 off 1 Olay
$BOGO free Ribbons

Should I buy 6 of the Ribbons to be able to use all the coupons?

How many BOGO coupons do you have? You will need to buy 2 for each of those that you have. Then you will need to buy 6 to use both $6 coupons, then 4 to use both $3 coupons, then 1 for the $1. So if you have one BOGO, you will need to buy 13 to use them all. Add 2 more for each additional BOGO coupon you have.

I'm off to CVS with my BOGO Infusium coupon. If I buy any more body wash for facial cleanser my DH is going to rebel! But I think I can squeeze in another shampoo and conditioner. Haven't got my Sunday paper yet so I haven't gone through this weeks coupons. I also have BOGO Febreze coupons from an insert a couple of weeks ago. Both the Infusium and Febreze coupons expire on Tuesday so I'm glad I'll get to use at least one of each!

I doubt anyone will. My ad specifically says $8.99 Definity scrub, cleanser 5oz or warming cleanser 4.2 oz or $24.99 micro sculpting moisturizer, cream, lotion 1.7 oz or eye illuminator 0.5 oz (excludes definity cleansers).

Went to CVS early this am. I hope to make more runs this week but here is the start of it. I am usually not so great on making it all work so I was thrilled with this visit.

I *think* that the reason all of your Olay Q's worked is because you had 3 Olay items and 2 coupons. Had you only had 2 items and used a B1G1 coupon & a money off coupon that is not *supposed* to work. If CVS's *sale* is buy 1 get 1 and you have a coupon for b1g1 then you can purchase only 2 and both free - 1 from mfg & 1 from CVS. Also noticed they took off $6.99 for the ribbons. Not sure why they took off so much as the sale is $3.99 and if it was a free Q then it should have been the sale amount - may have been a lucky catch.

Thanks for your info! I think I am understanding it correctly. RE: the ribbons-I had a Q for a free bottle with no size noted so I got the bigger bottle which was 6.99 (it was not the one in the paper just happen to get it this week in the mail!! I love when you get things in the mail and you have no idea why!)

They have 2 sizes of Olay Ribbons. The smaller is $4.xx (on sale for $3.99) and the bigger is $6.99.

I did go to CVS today and bought 6 ribbons at 3.99 each. I wanted to get over $20. I'm sure there are a 1,00o different ways I could have done this but I bought the ribbons.

6 @ 3.99=23.94
-$4 skin care coupon
-$6 off 3 Olay coupon
-$6 off 3 Olay coupon
- BOGO free Olay ribbons coupon so -$3.99
total was around $4

I actually could have used more Olay coupons for that one order. She said that as long as the coupons don't exceed the number of those particular items I purchase then I'm clear.

Also, I could have used the $4/$20 coupon and made this purchase free but I only had one with me and I used that on my second transaction for other stuff that included the Cover Girl Lip product-they are BOGO 50% off and I had a BOGO free coupon. There was also $1 off coupon in today's paper that I could have used in addition to this.

I have more Olay coupons and I might use them at Walgreens for the P&G register rewards. I'm trying to figure out which is the better deal.

I went this morning - I got the infusium 2/$10 and I had a bogo coupon and a $3 coupon off one - the cashier would not let me use both, she kept handing me the bogo coupon back saying the register wouldn't take it, but I kept explaining to her that I did get the two items, one is free, and one I pay for less the $3 - she didn't get it, had to call over someone else to override the register. Anyone else experience this?

Plus I got $3 ECB for the Infusium deal. Not too bad. I spent $1 ECB and got back $3 ECB and only spent .57

By the way, the Gillette coupon beeped and the manager had to force it through (he was checking me out.) It said I was "over the limit" but he said, "I don't see why since you bought one razor at $8.49 - $2 coupon. So you should get the second free with the BOGOF coupon." Also note he gave me the full $8.49 off without me asking. I wasn't sure if he would take off the full price razor or the 50% off price razor.
