CVS ECB deals - Sales for Week 6/17-6/23

OK - just got back from my first CVS run of the week!!! I bought:

2 one-touch monitors 19.99/each
2 bounty basic paper towels $5/each
2 pack gum toothbrush 1.99
2 fathers day cards $6.xx

I gave them 1 $10/off $50.00 coupon
2 $20/off touch monitor coupons
1 $1 /off gum toothbrush

my oop ended up to be exactly the cost of the fathers day cards plus one dollar for the toothbrushes, but I got $1 in ECB's back on the toothbrush.

I know that there may have been a better senario, but, I think I did pretty well for my first real time couponing!!!!!

The one touch ultra 2 monitor is regularly $69.99 in my store, and I got that for FREE, along with the mini monitor- also free, and 2 packages of paper towels which we go through like crazy.

I told my DH - see, now what do you think of the DIS????? ;)

You should have spent another $10 on paper towels or toilet paper and you would have gotten $10
ECB back.

I also did not get the monitor coupons, and we are in a fairly big city. :( I didn't get the Garnier B1G1 haircolor a few weeks ago!

Maybe it's in all of Fl that didn't get the monitor coupons? This really ruins my whole plan for the week...

Yep..I've noticed florida gets gyped on a lot of the coupons...also sometimes we get the same ones but for smaller cents off! I'm waiting on DH to come back with the paper now but I estimate I won't have the monitor coupon either.

Toots: it does say limit one per customer but that only means one per trip! You can keep printing it off until it expires. I wouldn't try to go thru the line once with it and get back into line with a second print off..they might give you a problem. BUT i have gone from one cvs to the next and used that coupon several times in one day (they take the coupon so I have several copies in my binder).

Here is a link to the 4/20 Q.

Anyone happen to notice which st ives products were on sale for 2.99? I'm hoping the absent PSA isn't just a glitch.

Well i am in florida and i have the monitor q's and yes you can use the 4/20 repeatedle, i know i have used it 3 differnt times in a row, not leaving the register just doing separate transactions.
I already planned out 2 trips so will be heading there shortly after i shower.

What paper?

I've learned my lesson I only buy the fort worth or san antonio paper here in texas, our town is so small our paper only prints once a week with no inserts or coupons even the larger near by towns will only have 1 of the 3 inserts in them. I also stop at the convience store that is very slow and I will take the paper up to the counter and tell the clerk that I really don't want the paper just a certain coupon inside if it will be alright if I check to make sure it is inside, they always say sure go ahead, if it is in there I buy the paper if it is not I put it back. I tried 4 different papers last week for the reach & something else coupon and had no luck, didn't need any of the other coupons so just didn't buy a paper that week. Since I can see the cvs ads weeks in advance I find that it is easier just to get the really good coupons off of ebay and I split the cost 4 ways with my mom, aunt and cousin and we end up with about 5 coupons each which is generally the limit for the monthly deals.

Oh forgot to say that I found the monitors coupons in a different newspaper..

The coupon that printed for me for the Bayer vitamins was $5 off.

I didn't get the monitor coupons but I did get the Huggies coupons. If anyone wants them, PM me. I can mail them out to you.

one touch ultra mini $19.99
one touch ultra 2 $19.99

2 one-touch monitors 19.99/each

Are all you people diabetic or just buying the monitors for the heck of it?
I see how the deal works i just can't see taking on off the shelf from someone who might actually be needing one for medical purposes.

ETA: newspaper coupons must be regional because I just bought another newspaper. There is no sign whatsoever of the one touch monitors and the huggies bath items. The only 2 things I wanted, LOL.

Yes there are a couple versions of the SS coupons...My Washington Post yesterday had all the cool coupons in it. Today i got two Frederick Posts and they had none of the good ones (no right guard no Dove:mad: )
Of course by then it was too late to go buy another Washington Post.

Ok deal proposal

I have 3 sets of all those huggies coupons from this week

i need one more right guard coupon and dove deoderant coupon...
and i need the petsmart $5 pro plan dog food one

Any interest...send me PM...

I plan on getting the monitors because my Meme and my DH's grandfather are diabetic and can use them. If they don't want them, my friend works at a nursing home, so I will give them to her, as I know that they can always use them. Or, I work for Dept. of Health & Human services, so I can give them to Adult and Elderly Services, as I know they will DEFINITELY know someone who can use them.

Are all you people diabetic or just buying the monitors for the heck of it?
I see how the deal works i just can't see taking on off the shelf from someone who might actually be needing one for medical purposes.

My mil and her sister are both diabetic and both are getting progressively worse. They will need to go on insulin soon and I plan on sending them a set of the monitors. And the last set I plan to donate... so not taking it from someone who can use them, i'm giving it to people who need them.
