I agree - it seems they have been having a lot of the $5 when you buy $15 or $20 deals. They are definitely making me work for my money by figuring out the best way to make money or break even but at least I am paying minimal when I do have to spend.

I did have a good night the other night. DH needed a new Rx so I filled that for $10. I got a $25 gc for filling that. I ended up buying a bunch of stuff we need for vacation/summer. The total was just over $30. I used $25 in ECBs and $5 off the gc. I still have $20 on the gc and about $30 in ECBs

I love getting stuff for FREE!!!

I also went to Walgreens this morning. I did the buy 9 items get $20 in register cash.

I bought 9 packages of Venus disposable 3 pack + 1 bonus - $4.99 each

Total b/4 tax - $44.91 used 9 $3 off coupons
Paid $19.39 - and received $20 register cash!!! - profit of $.61 cents!!

My legs are set for summer after today. LOL

Not too much of interest this week for me, but I will still pick up the water and a couple of other things.

Walgreens does rebates, I only have done one so far. I prefer CVS because you get the bucks right than and there, as opposed to having to send off something and than waiting for it to come in. I guess I just like instant gratification.

My second post where I bought the 9 packages of Venus razors...was about Walgreen's.

Walgreens usually does not have as great of deals as CVS. Walgreens is usally all in rebate form. You have to buy, keep receipts, mail it in, and then you get your money back.
They have a monthly savings/rebate book they put out.

I have several questions that I'm sure are stupid but since this is only my second week with the CVS deals I'm still unsure how some of these things work.

1. How many bottles of Suave hair care for $.59 and Kleenex for $.89 can I purchase? Is this where the 5 limit I keep hearing about comes into play?

2. On the Gold Emblem Peanut deal for $.49 it says there is a limit of 4. Does that mean I can buy 4 @ $2.49 and get $8.00 back in Extra Bucks?

3. On the Colgate buy 1/get 1 free deal. I have 2 coupons for $1 off. Can I use both of those coupons on the same order?

4. And the one I am most confused about is the $5 Extra Bucks when you spend $20 on these P&G products. Can you buy multipals of each item to total $20. (ex: 4 cans of Pringles, 2 Charmin packages etc.) I have coupons for lots of these items. If I am right at $20 in these items and gave several dollars worth of coupons do I still get my extra bucks?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I actually hit the jackpot today , I had a $10 off $50 , then I stacked up all the coupons I had , and on top of that the pro-vive sale I had B1G1F coupons and the bottles came with a bonus conditioner bottle attached to it , so I made out like a bandit. I paid OOP all together $1 on one purchase and .43 on the other . I lost $9 ECB's all together but that's because I bought more things that did not have ECB's back , I had to use them or they were going to expire today and I would have lost them , so I bought things that I needed to get anyway.

Went to CVS today to take advantage of the $5 ECB WYB $20 P & G products. Got 3 packs of Charmin & 2 packs of Always liners. After ECBs & coupons the total OOP was $6.82. When the $5 ECB pronted the cashier said "Wow! You got all that stuff for only $1.82! " Man. I love CVS!

Thank you! It's been a while since I've been to CVS. I don't even get the ad anymore in the Washington Post like I used to.

Does the ECB credit immediately to that purchase or do you have to use it on a future purchase?

I guess some brands are regional as well. The Ice Mountain water listed in the OP is listed as Poland Spring in my local circular (I just looked online to see the deals).

Its funny cuz for me we have the zephyrhills as the 3.49 water. I went this morning and spent $1.44 out of pocket and made $20 in ecbs, we use 2 cards so i got 8 peanut tubs, 2 bis soleil razors, 2 crest spinbrush, 2 hersheys cookies. Had coupons for all except the peanuts, all in all not a bad haul. Then went to walgreens for the excedrin, got four boxes for $4. ..lol

Wanted to mention that the crest spin brush is 4 per card, , may go get another if i get another $1 Q.

edited to add, did anybody try for that $10 in hershey products to get the can of kisses? Will the balnace show up on your receipt, i wonder cuz i bought those cookies but i dont se any balnace on my receipt, i was thinking if it counts i only have $6 to go to get the can and i have some hersheys coupons i can use. Anybody?

I did the arthritis kit deal last week that is similar to this weeks Hershey deal. It does not show up on the bottom of your receipt. When you purchase over the $10 limit they are supposed to automatically mail out the tin to you. If you read the fine print it says 8-10 weeks to receive the tin. I plan on purchasing 5 of the Cacoa reserve bars (I have 10 coupons for them free) adding on 1 package of the snack size PB cups to throw me over the $10 and adding other sale items on as well so that I can use a $4/$20
