CVS ECB Deals ~ Sales for Week 3/1-3/7

WALGREENS DEAL

Buy 8 bars of Dove single soap, make $10 Register Rewards. There is a .99 coupon on the Walgreens ad this week. So you spend around $8 and make $10. This is best if you already have some RR to pay for the initial $8.

Also, Vaseline lotion is 25% off and a few of the versions will produce a $2 RR. I bought one that was regularly priced $3.59 - .90 for the 25% off for a total of $2.69. I used the $1.50 coupon from this week's insert, so OOP $1.19 and got back $2. Even if you don't have a coupon, pay $2.69 for lotion and get $2 RR back.

Remember that Walgreens RR do not roll on the same deal. I am thinking about using my $10 RR from the Dove to get the Blink eye stuff ($7.99 RR) and another lotion ($2 RR). Then use the Blink RR to buy more dove. And so on.

Maggie

Thanks Maggie - great deal!

One question -
I've been registerd with everydayeating.com before, since it's part of Nestle, but it says coupons aren't available. Anyone else have that happen?

I wonder if they didn't reach the print limit? It's not my favorite site, I've had problems before with coupons there.

I borrowed this from this weeks Freebie thread(thanks aclov!) If you have a my coke rewards account, you can get a coupon for bogo free 20 oz coke to be used at Walgreens.

"Cokerewards - BOGO Coke coupon @ Walgreens

Make sure your pop up blocker is off, I had problems and it didn't print but they emailed me that my coupon was ready to download and I was able to print it.

Borrowed....

Cool - thanks! I am always looking for an item to put with Register Rewards.

I was reading on slickdeals about a guy who road his bike around and did the lumene and Hershey deals. It inspired me to want to do them too. I dragged DF to 3 CVS's tonight. I did the same transaction at each store:

$2.99 Lumene wipes
$1/2 Hershey bars - 3

-$4 Lumene coupon

$0.53 OOP

I explained it to DF beforehand and he saw my total was only $0.53, but as we were leaving the first store he said he felt like we were stealing. He also didn't understand why I kept telling him to pick out candy lol
Then as we were leaving the second store I explained it one more time about how in the end I would get $7 and $5 and suddenly he went  He was totally amazed that in the end I was making money, even though I have told him many times that's what CVSing is about.

Right now though my totals are showing incorrectly because I did three stores back to back. Hopefully tomorrow it will be fixed though.

Who you calling crazy girl??????????? Surely not me because I only used a quarter tank of gas, drove many miles, went in 6 CVS and bought 8 Robes today. All of that was to try and find a much coveted 3/15 coupon that I do not believe exists in my area. :rotfl2:

At the end of that a school bus came over into my lane and the lug nuts on the bus scratched up my car.

WHERE ARE THE COUPONS? WHERE ARE THE COUPONS?

Did I tell you "I am not crazy"!!!:lmao: :rotfl:

OMG, sorry about your car! I don't think those coupons exist either.

Somebody needs to write why facebook is addicting. I am on strict orders from my 21 year old not to make a Facebook account because he says I am too old. A long time ago, I made myspace accounts for my husband and I and we both kept getting all these messages from people that were, how do I put it... asking for something that I cannot write about here :rotfl2: The weird thing was that they lived in this area and used their real names.

I haven't attempted Lumene, but now I'm wanting to do it!

I was going to do the P & G deal tomorrow and noticed your post. Can you tell me more? Should I just take the 9 ct. to the register or are only certain stores doing this because they are out of the 6 ct? I'm just a little confused. Thanks!:goodvibes
I tried do this deal Sunday but my closest store didn't have the 6pk. When I asked they said I'd have to wait until the truck came in Monday. But when I posted the problem on here and another site I was told it was a corporate mistake and that they didn't have the 6pk shipped to stores. Instead they shipped the 9pk. So I tried it and the 9pk worked perfectly and I used coupon for it so that was a little bit extra I didn't have to pay. I highly doubt your store will have the 6pk but my suggestion is to just take the 9pk to the register.

This group of people, on this thread, is amazing!! Seriously if we have a problem like I had people try the deal, or they search for the same problem and they post what others have succeeding in buying. :grouphug:

You should! I'm going to go try the wipes right now lol.
On a side note I just realized that half the candy I bought didn't count towards the deal and was only $1/2, but hey it was still free candy and it just means I have to get more candy :rotfl: next time I'm shopping with the ad in hand!

At my store, they actually had a little display with a whole bunch of the bounty and Charmin stacked and on the endcap was Tide. There was only one 6 pack of Charmin and the rest were the 9 packs. I grabbed the 9 pack and figured if it didn't go through I would just play dumb and go back and grab the 6 pack.....but no need as the 9 pack scanned right through :cool1:

I have a bunch of high school friends, as well as Disney loving travel friends, whom I have met on trips, cruises and park trips. Facebook is alot of fun, and an easy way to keep in contact with friends & family all over. I never did myspace, but seeing my oldest kids & their friends with it....makes me like FB much more!

i was just going to ask the same thing.

alos the Suave deal does not work here in NY - i scanned the kids and it rang up 2.69 (regular price)

lisa

I'm wondering if the Suave deal ended. I checked at one store yesterday and the Suave was all at regular price and there were no signs about the deal. Anyone know for sure if it ended?

My store didn't have the signs up but I still go the ECB for the Suave.

Sounds like fun! Now who knows how to start a group like that. I am much better at ECB's than at websites.

My DH has started a couple of groups on FB so I can get him to walk me through how to start one for us.

I just need a name for it. Any good ideas???????

I totally agree. I have family that doesn't live close so I love FB because I get to see pics of my nephew alot more frequently.

It's great just to keep in touch with everyone.

I have a myspace account that I never use anymore because FB just seems more grown up! I used to get friends requests from all types of strange people on myspace (that I would of course ignore..LOL!).....but I never get those on FB so it seems safer!

It's not supposed to end until March 14 I think. the kids were that price here but the bodywash rang up at $2 and my ecbs printed

I think the cashier gave me money out of his pocket last night!! :lmao:

I went to Walgreens to get the Dove soap deal. I had 8 bars of soap and one .25 Easter bag for a filler. I used the $8 Register Reward from the Blink deal and my total was .78. So I had a Walgreens gift card but didn't know how much was on it. I gave it to the young, male cashier and said I wasn't sure if anything was on it. Of course, there wasn't. Then I said, "Oh, shoot. I didn't plan that well because I am not sure if I have .78." And I felt silly putting .78 on my credit card. (My debit card expired 2/28 and I am still waiting for my new one.) So I am digging through my wallet counting pennies and I see out of the corner of my eye the cashier reach into his pocket and seem like he put something on the counter. So I said, "Oh, yes, I think I have it (as I count out 18 pennies)." So the change is all on the counter and he recounts it all and somehow I get back lots of change? :confused3 I said, "Oh, did I miscount by that much? Wait, is that quarter yours?" He said no and handed me my receipt! :teacher: I think the poor kid felt sorry for this crazy lady who was counting out pennies to buy some soap. :rotfl:

I'm not 100% sure he put money there, but I also didn't think I miscounted that much!

:scared1: There are many more creepers on MySpace I think. I love Facebook though. I found my long lost cousin on there and now we chat daily!

I thought about that too - we need our own group! I was just thinking of something boring like CVS DISers. Let me know if you start one!

Oh man, you beat me to it! That was the name I was going to say, something like CVS Disney Group.

I never did myspace. I always thought it was sort of young and at the time I was teaching and did not want to see my students online. Like others said, FB seems more for adults. I even had to convince one friend of mine to try FB as she thought it made her too old!

leagirl12 - let me know if you get the group started! Thanks.

OK. I signed up for Facebook. Now what do I do? :surfweb: I guess I need to ask my kids how to do this!

Although it did show me profiles of many of my friends from High School. Have any of you contacted people from HS through this?

To make this a CVS post, my dad says to me, "if you see a deal on toilet paper and paper towels, get some We are running low." I guess I need to head out and do the P&G deal.
