CVS ECB Deals ~ Sales for Week 2/8-2/14

Hi Lanajae, my CVS mentor! ::yes:: Welcome back home to MN!! :goodvibes We've had some pretty decent weather lately but I hear we're in for freezing rain tomorrow morning. Wouldn't you know it since I have to be in Highland Park at 8:30 for a doctor's appt. and then in So. St. Paul for a dental appt. at 9:30. Argh! I seem to really be able to pick the nasty days to go across town. I haven't read your cruise report but I'm off to do that now. :beach:

Welcome back. We missed you!

The only deal I did this week was the P&G to get the movie for $4.95. I got 1 pack of TP, Tide, and Downy.

Oh I also got 2 Ritz with the coupon it was $0. I wish I had more of that coupon!!!!

So my CVS is out of the SoyJoy bars in the 6 pack. All they have is the individual sold bars @ $1.60something each. I can just go to the cashier and ask them for a rain check for the 6 pack? Will the cashier know what I'm talking about if I don't have an ad in my hand?

When I asked for a raincheck at a couple different CVSes here a couple weeks ago, they said no rainchecks on the 6 packs and explained that "it was a one-time thing" whatever that means. :confused3

Okay, I missed this one. Is it in this week's ad for Ritz~I couldn't find it.

My CVS sells the individuals for only $1.29. Maybe that's why they gave me 12 for $12 and gave me $12 in ECB. All I did was ask the manager if they had anymore of the 6 count boxes and she said she'd price-adjust individuals for me. She did say there were no rainchecks on that deal.

Maybe I'll ask for that. I'm going back this week. Thank you!

Welcome back LANAJAE!!!:cool1: Sounds like you and your family had a very nice time...wish I was there too:rolleyes: :beach:

I wish you were too, maybe we'll all have to plan a trip together and justify it with our CVS savings :)

Thanks! Oh I hope it doesn't rain, please cancel if it's bad - you know that's when all the idiot drivers come out here. I have to take my 17 year old to Mayo Clinic tomorrow (she's okay, it's for a congenital bone issue). Her appt. isn't until 1 pm-something so hopefully the roads will be okay by then, I hate freezing rain!

I hope you still like me after you read that review. I'm afraid it's going to turn into a big fight. The posters that are slamming it are ones that do that on every thread, they always take the opposite/underdog position.

Mahtomedi and Maplewood didn't have the 50% off Mylanta (it's gone). I haven't checked Woodbury yet, but will let you know if they have any.

Thanks! I had some of those coupons last fall, have been searching the displays at the grocery stores since. Next time I see them, I'm going to be greedy :rotfl:

You can ask for one, but they probably won't get them in because it was special packaging for the promo that lasts through 2-14-09. I would still get a raincheck because you never know, they might start selling a 6-pack all the time because they did so well on this promo.
______________

A few things I noticed today... I got a CRT for $4 off any Futuro brace. Found some in clearance at 2 different stores and they were all $4 each (regular $15.99).

If you got a $1 CRT for Glade, combine it with one of the $4 coupons from today's paper for a free lasting impressions or the new spray (promo item until 2-14, on sale for $6.99, with $2 ECB).

I got a CRT for $2 off Hershey "gusset" bags. I have no idea what a gusset is, but it scanned for the Valentine's bags that are 2 for $5 (just got one, so it was 50 cents).

Along with the Madagascar deal I was at Walmart today getting some munchies and the twinkies and chocolate cupcakes have a $4 rebate for the movie. So assuming this would work since it said if you buy 2 of those and the movie, you can basically get the movie for $.99!

Of course doing that deal today wiped out my ECBs!!! It's depressing knowing I don't have any in my purse!

Lanajae! :) Before I dig my CRT for the Hershey's Gusset bags out of my recycling bag, could you tell us what is in the gusset bag or is it just a bag? If it's full of chocolate, it might be worth digging through the recycling!!! :hyper:

i hit 4 different cvs's today b4 finding the Mylanta - caution i found the right flavor size at most of them BUT not all of them are the 50% off - the one which i bought that was, expires 9/09 - the others were not expiring till 2010 and they were not marked down - both the cherry flavor! i also bought the Gilette razor w/coupon so free!

I just bought a bag of the Hershey miniatures in the Valentine's section, it was $2.50 (-$2). I was prepared for someone to say "these are not gussets" :lmao: but the cashier scanned it and it didn't beep.

Found some definitions for gusset:
  • voider: a piece of chain mail covering a place unprotected by armor plate
  • a metal plate used to strengthen a joist
  • a piece of material used to strengthen or enlarge a garment
  • The triangular or rectangular usually cotton lining in the crotch area of the panty or shapewear :scared: :scared1:

I wanted to confirm to you all that the 99 cent AG cards will give ECBS. So buy (3) 99 cent cards and get $3 ECB'S -- so FREE!

Also, I bought 2 of the Glade Sense and Sprays from the January multi pack deals. They were $6.99 each. I had a buy one get one free coupon, $4 coupons for each one, and a CRT for $1 off any Glade product. So, they paid me $2.01 to take them and gave me $4 in ECB's. I was expecting the cashier to only deduct what I paid, but she didn't. I didn't notice it till I got home and went through my receipt.

Okay, I missed this one. Is it in this week's ad for Ritz~I couldn't find it.

It was in the ad for today. 5for $5 on different cookies and crackers...but that particular coupon was good for any size wheat thins or ritz....so they were free.

I am so thankful I was not the only one who did not know what that coupon was to be used on!!! Now I don't feel alone!!!!

Yeah, why couldn't they just say a bag of Hersheys chocolates? I went through that whole stupid bag of recycling and can't even find the coupon for the gusset now!! I didn't want that chocolate anyway, did I? :rotfl2:

:thumbsup2 Thanks, I've got one of those coupons so now I can have Ritz instead of those Hersheys gussets!!

My CRTs were for Benadryl and Skin Effects.

I just got the Fusion Razor.

I'm waiting for Nutragena sunscreen to go on sale w/ECBs. I've had skin cancer and I think their sunscreen is the best.

Was it in the Star Tribune? I didn't get one, I thought everyone was talking about the $1 off 1 Nabisco coupons that were on grocery store displays.

Sorry about your gusset CRT  I'd have you come over and eat my bag with me but I had to get it anyway for my daughter's class party this week. No Ultimate Cherry Mylanta at Woodbury, they are also out of Fusion Gamers (but both Mahtomedi and Maplewood have them). One of my asst. mgr. cashier friends at Woodbury let me use my $4 Fusion coupon on a Venus Spa under their "substitution policy" (that's new to me) (scanned without beeps).

99 cent Hallmark cards work for the $3 ECB and the limit is more than 3 cards. Hoping it's 15 - I am buying thank you cards this time.

It might start in March, I think it did last year. Sorry you had skin cancer, my best friend from childhood is going through it right now, just found her 2nd melanoma, both on her forearms. I will tell her about Neutrogena.

Subbing.

Just back from an unexpected 11 day trip to SC and both of the CVS stores that I went to (for stuff we forgot - not really to "CVS") had TONS of deals including full displays of the SoyJoys and all the other bonus pack deals. If it didn't cost so much to check an extra bag I would have picked up quite a few of those to bring back. I did pick up a couple of the Soy Joys and just took them out of the box and fit them in the suitcase.

I did get DH 2 of the Gamer Fusion razors and hope the blades fit in his other Fusion. Anyone know?
