CVS ECB Deals - Sales for Week 2/3/08-2/9/08

Do you do the Walgreen's Easy Saver? If you do, this is easy, although they aren't running the rebate for Feb., they do most every other month.

I found this post from another board, which probably makes more sense:

buy 3*$25 AMEX GC=$75+$11.85 (activation fee for $3.95 each)-$75 AMEX card value-$20 rebate check=-$8.15. If you are willing to take your rebate on a Walgreens gift card, they will give you 10% bonus ($22 value)

So you spent $11.85 and you get $22 back on three $25 gift cards (which you can spend immediately anywhere). It has to be the $25 ones, as anything higher has a higher fee to activate.

I coupon not only at CVS, but occasionally Rite Aid, and then the various grocery stores, Walmart and Target, so there will probably be lots of coupons out there that others don't want that I might want!

Plus...I know that some people don't have any places that double coupons, so they would prefer the $1/2 coupons instead of the .45/1 or something. We ALWAYS get the $1/2 coupons here, so they can't be doubled, so I liked to trade for the ones that can be doubled at the grocery stores.

Back to CVS - has anyone had any luck with the razors - I went in yesterday because I was almost certain the ad said Thursday at noon (and I don't have an ad handy) and the woman told me they weren't available til the 10th (which would be the next ad anyway so I dont know why it would have been in this ad anyway)

Over at Walgreens they weren't sure if they had come in because they were behind on getting stock out -- I hope I have better luck today on those!

If you're talking about the Gillette Embrace (marked down to $9.99 with $8 in ECB), then yes - I have had success with it. I got it yesterday afternoon.

Ok well I am in Central Illinois and I sort of suspected since I haven't seen the razor anywhere we might have had a weather delay too.

I live within walking distance and I hoped the sidewalks would be clear enough to put the baby (I babysit) in the stroller and hit the two stores. But they are not - and its just too much of a hassle with the huge baby carrier and going in and out of the two stores so I will wait til 4.

Yes I do do the Walgreens Easy Saver but the Amex deal had escaped my notice in the past -probably because I knew about the fee and didn't realize there was a deal around this -- I will definitely look for that in the future! THanks!

They are a big money maker because there is a $9.99 manufacturers q as well as the $4/$20 CVS q. So just with those 2 q's you have a "profit" of $13.99. Then potentially throw in the rebate and it is a really great deal!!!

I did not know these had rebates in them. Mine does not say so on the outside.

Also there is coupon out to get this monitor FREE. I traded for one on HCW. I had already used my $9.99 on my first card or I would have tried for 2 trades. But made out very well with the free Q. You should have seen the snotty cashier going over that one with a fine toothed comeb.

Not all did. The ones I got were obviously older bu7t I bought them anyway since they did have a rebate listed on the front. I have gone over the rebate form several times and I have yet to find an expire date on it! Even without the rebate it is still a good money maker! With a mfr q and the $4/$20 it is a $13.99 moneymaker or if you can not find the mfr q's then it is at least a $4 money maker!

I posted one on page 20 of this thread - might work, might not. Some say it's a fraud, but it does scan (needs a pharmacist or manager's card to activate).

Poo, I didn't do very well tonight. I put the wrong tooth stuff on the counter first and that threw me off. Then a $4 off of $20 posted wouldn't work because they said it was tied to another card.

I ended up with:
3 mouthwashes
1 crest pro health night (I have a mail in for a free tube with this purchase)
1 oral b toothbrush
2 eyeshadows
----came out to $6 something after a $4 off of $20 with my name on it and all my ECBs

then
4 colgates
3 baby aspirin
-$4 of colgate coupons and more ECBs - came out to 31 cents

I have about $21 in ECBs left for next week.

I also wanted to give everyone a heads up on the Precision monitor deal this month. It is a monthly deal for the monitor for $19.99 and $19.99 back in ECBs. Well, there are coupons out there for $9.99 off making it $10 (A profit right there of $9.99 plus another $4 if you use the $4/$20 email q.) I found my $9.99 coupons at The Coupon Clipeprs. I found in 3 different stores boxes of these that also had a $2 off coupon on top as well as a rebate! The rebate is for $20 plus another $40 if you send in another barnad of monitor! There is no expiration date on the rebate I'll be sending in one of the monitors from a previous deal and hopefully getting $60 back

It was the one that expired on the 10th (or 9th?) the first one in the series to expire. I thought it was a little weird because I've not heard of it being attached to another card. When my monitor coupons come in I'll try a different one at a different store

The box actually had a reabte mentioned onthe outside. There is a rebate form inside of the box.
