CVS ECB Deals - Sales for Week 2/3/08-2/9/08

SO i am not as good as most of you but here was my run tonight:
3pk irish spring
1 soft soap
1 palmolive dish soap
1 mens 24/7 speed stick
1 women's spped stick
1 3 pack of brita filters (which we desperately needed)

coupons:
.25 mfr
.35mfr
.30mfr
.75mfr
1 mfr
1mfr on the brita
$3 off of $15
$5 off of 25
9ecb

oop $9.14

saved $29.63 and i earned $5 in ecb!

i was hoping to get the total down a bit more but we really needed the britas and they never go on sale around here so to get all of them and all of the other stuff for only $9 is pretty good.

i am getting there and hope to get down to the oop cents soon.

Wow. My DH would not leave the house now. The most he will do is sit in the car when we go to CVS,he feels like he is driving the get away car.:rotfl2:
I did have a good CVS run today I spent 132.00 before coupons and after all my coupons and ecbs i spent 40 cents oop and got back 36.00 in ecb. My store loves seeing I low I can get my total. The store manager rang in my order today. They love letting people stack coupons

Way to go:cheer2: You did better than we did Our trip went well too. Total saved was $13.80 x2 = $207.60. OOP was .69 x2 = $1.38 and got $23ECB x2= $46

Good job everyone! I didn't get a chance to go out today :sad2: because after church I started cooking for the football party. Then I watched the game. Oh well. Maybe some more printables will come out before the end of the week. I do have a ton of $10/$50 CRTs, but I usually don't do transactions that big.

I found a $4/$20 that expires 2/10.

Also, there is some discussion on hotcouponworld about certain products not working for the ECB:
The TheraFlu Multi Symptoms Thin Strips doesn't work.

If the excedrin doesn't work for you, the excedrin might have been previously part of a bundled 2-pack. Look at the bar code. If the last digit is a 7, it will work. If it is a 9, the register thinks you are getting a bundle from a previous deal, and only gives you $3.

Make sure you get the right version of the Garnier. It is only Shine Burst or Strength and Repair.

The ladies speedstick powder scent is not working for the colgate deal. It rings up at $3.19.

The CVS Asprin 36ct Adult enteric Coated Orange is not working for the monthly deal.

Some of the maybelline eyeshadows are ringing up on clearance and will not work for the deal.

Some of the softsoap are not working for the ECB deal.

Hope that helps.

You did great! Look at all the stuff you got for $4.14. oop 9.14 - 5.00 ECB = $4.14.

Are there any $/$$ coupons floating around out there yet. I know the ones I have expired today, and I didn't have a chance to go to cvs, I wasn't planning to go til later in the week.

Check out post #104 on this thread.

The Mennen Speed Stick 2 pack is not ringing up as part of the Colgate deal.

I also didn't realize the Garnier deal is limit 1. Ugh. I bought 2 and had 2 Coupons but only got 1 $3.99 ECB. Can I return one and buy it with my 2nd card if I used a coupon for it?

Thanks for the 4/20 link!

Because I'm being lazy, I'm just C&P from the no buy thread into here. This isn't broken down into the 6 transactions I did since I used the $/$$ as I previously listed out earlier in the thread and those expired yesterday. It's just a summary of the 6 combined. I wasn't able to get quite a few things as the stores were wiped of all the Garnier and Venus and a few other things I couldn't get as well.

"Anyway, I did just *ok* with thinking on my feet that late at night and forgot to give the cashier $1 worth of coupons and then she couldn't take my $1/2 M&Ms coupon as it beeped and wouldn't go through and she said they aren't allowed to push them through anymore. I highly doubt she'd get in trouble for pushing through the coupon when we both verified that I got the exact items listed but I'm not going to give any of them grief since I know it's not coming from them (and poor girl was like 8mths pregnant working the night shift).

So for my $7.65 I got:

3 boxes Cheerioes
3 boxes honey nut cheerios
2 gals milk
2 boxes Nature Valley bars
10 boxes childrens asprin
4 boxes excedrin
2 RX essentials vitamins
3 diabetes monitors (2 of the precision and 1 nova max)
4 maybelline eyeshadow
4 purell
9 12pks diet coke
1 20oz diet coke
1 handi snack crackers
2 Fusion razors
1 full size shaving gel
4 Afrin
2 theraflu
2 triaminic
1 Coca-Via
6 Nutra-trim gum
12 extreme energy drinks
4 bags M&Ms
4 bags Dove candies
1 Dove choco bar
2 EOB lipgloss
2 bottles vit A vitamins
1 bottle diabetic tussin (told you I was too tired to think on my feet! LOL)
4 bottles Fabulosa cleaner
1 J&J buddie bar soap
1 comb (mine broke yesterday)
5 boost smoothies

that's it Used around $73 in ECBs and got back $239.78 in ECBs "

Wow! Great deal! I'm impressed you had $73 in ECB to use AND more impressed that you now have over $200!!!

Maggie

Actually I still had $166.xx in ECBs after using that $73.xx. I try to keep a few hundred in ECBs going at any one time.

So I have just over $400 in ECBs at the moment which is too many to be rolling like that so I'll need to burn some on random things. Just not sure what! LOL

I get slighty OCD about rolling what I have which is why they are currently up that high. :headache:

I am planning a trip this week at some point!! I am building my stockpile back up. I plan on making little travel bags for everyone in our trip in 2009. (I hope that deoderant and toothpaste keep that long!!LOL)

ohh, question: is there a milk and cereal deal that I don't know about???

WOW! $400 in ECBs?? :worship: This will be a big week for me at cvs, from looking at the circular I have about $100 of stuff I want to buy that will be earning ECBs, but I only have $20 cash. :( Let's see how good I am. I think I have a $10 off $50 CRT and about $20 in ECBs, plus I grabbed a $3 off $10 from the pharmacy the other day. So I need $57 in coupons...hmmm...Maybe multiple trips to get some ECBs and then roll them into the next?

ohh, question: is there a milk and cereal deal that I don't know about???

not really...cheerios are 2/$5, buy 3 and get $1 ECB...I had peelies for buy 3 cheerios and get a free box of nature valley bars and peelies for buy 3 boxes of cheerios and get a free gallon of milk...so for every 3 boxes of cheerios I got a free gallon of milk, a free box of granola bars and a $1 ECB...

HTH!

oh I saw that last night but I didn't think I could use it. It looks like the coupon you get for signing up for the ECB card?
I will print it and try, thanks!

Wow, that's some super-duper stacking there. I'd need to have an order totalling $75+$50+30+30+30+20+15 before man.coupons and ECBs to do what you're doing (well, truthfully I'm too chicken to even try this at my stores, I'd hate to be hassled or accused of something like others have posted about their experiences with such couponing, I like to fly under that radar). Sounds like an interesting plan, happy shopping.:wizard:

I was flipping through my coupons as the manager rang me up and she TOLD me to do it, took all the $x off $x and rang them up. I was nervous to do it too but not anymore. She told me if they're out there, use them -that's what they're for. Love it!!:thumbsup2

Here is my first scenario for this week...

(1) Garnier Shampoo - $3.99 ($3.99 ECB)
(2) Excedrin - $13.98 ($10 ECB)
(3) Maybelline eye shadows - $16.47 ($16.47 ECB)
(2) Colgate battery toothbrushes (for my kids Easter baskets) - $11.98 ($5 ECB)
(1) Nurtitrim gum - $3.99 ($3.99 ECB)

Total before coupons & tax= $50.41

Coupons to use:
(1) $1 - Garnier
(2) $3 Excedrin
(3) $1 Maybelline
(1) $3 off $15 printable
(1) $10 off $50 CRT

total coupons $25
Need to use ~$24 in ECBs & OOP less than $2

ECBs earned = $39.45

Where did you get all those coupons?? I need help with starting!! TIA
