CVS ECB Deals ~ Sales for Week 2/15-2/21

I lost my DH's card. I've been just using his phone #, but hate not being able to scan his card in the store. Is it better to order a replacement card, or just get a new card and link it to his account?

No, I forgot to check at Woodbury when I went there for the hand cream. I got the last two in Mahtomedi after checking for it in Maplewood. :) I have a feeling the word has gotten out about this great deal.

Woodbury had fragrance-free left :cheer2: Thanks!

People are reporting that they are getting this deal this week:

Huggies diapers - spend $20, get $5 ECB (getting them for $8.99 a pack through today), limit 5. Seems to work in some regions and not in others. Hope I did the math right, would have to try it tonight to save the extra $1 per pack:

$80.91 Nine packs of Huggies at $8.99 each
-13.50 Nine $1.50 mfgs.
-20.00 ECB earned for spending $80
$47.41 (cost after earning ECB) ($5.27 per pack)

I want to know why when I use my DD's card she always gets good c/os like $5/25 and I don't:rotfl2: I think I'll use hers more often !!!!:rotfl2:

I'm a little upset though. Before I went to the register I tallied everything up on the calculator on my phone and it was 30.32. Awesome. Perfect for my 5/30. So the cashier rings me up and I hand her my stack of coupons and ECBs. They were all mixed together and my 5/30 was a CRT so it didn't stand out and I forgot to separate it.
She starts scanning them and after two she says "Your total needed to be $30 before tax. It was $32.xx after tax." I'm like umm yeah it was 30.32 before tax. I added it all up. She says it wasn't and she can void the order and show me (she had already scanned my ECBs, no way am I going through that) So I'm thinking I'll grab another cotton round or something. She tells me I need $2 more! No way! Then she goes ahead and just scans the coupon anyway.
Grrrr I totaled it up again and it was definitely 30.32
I really hate the people who work at that store, I'm sticking to my 24hr store from now on.

On the bright side I got a bunch of stuff I needed and a Bridal magazine I was going to buy at Target and only spent $7 and got back $9 in ECBs

Frustrating! The only way to deal with cashiers like that is to hand over one coupon at a time. The register knew that you spent $30 and it really doesn't matter when it's scanned but there are always some cashiers that pull that.

Is the monthly aspirin deal limit 1 or 2?

Thanks,
Maggie

1 - just looked at my receipt, maybe they'll up it like they did with the energy drinks.

Since the last 2 Suave ECB were manually entered does that mean I can go back and get more?

Yes, as long as your receipt doesn't show "offer limit reached."

I have read about people having problems with any ECBs left on the account when requesting a replacement. If I remember right, they became inactive as soon as they called and it took awhile to get the new card.

No one has been able to figure it out. hotcouponworld.com did several polls to try to find a specific pattern.

This is the pattern I noticed:

1. New card, no CRTs and no $/$$
2. After 2 mos. of regular use, start getting $/$$
3. Sometimes after 2 mos. of regular use, start getting CRTs
4. Start getting $/$$ in email
5. After 1 year of regular use: no CRTs, no $/$$, and no emailed $/$$ for a few months
6. Finally start getting CRTs again
7. Emails have product coupons, but no $/$$
8. Will occasionally give a $/$$ at scanner/coupon printer, but only on one card per address, and usually on the card that is used less often
9. Will occasionally give a $/$$ in email, but only on one card per address and usually near a holiday

They have a way of cross-referencing physical mailing addresses now. Some people tried starting over again with a new card and a new CVS.com account and it didn't help.

Just went and did the Neutrogena deal. So excited! They had more bars too and I should've done my other card but I never do more than one card at a time so I didn't. I bet when I go back they'll be gone. That happened to me last week. I found an Ultimate cherry Mylanta. There were three on the shelf. But I only bought one. Wanted to make sure it worked. Went back later and all gone! Boo-hoo! I'm such a nervous nelly.

Smiller and Hmillerbarilla you look so cute in your picture. And I know how you feel about missing the coupon. That will eat at me forever! I get so mad at myself.

Oh yeah my store was out of 2liter regular coke. I'm going to have to hunt that down. DH goes through Coke like crazy.

LOVE the Miller girls pix! :)

We need to start a tradition of all the DIS CVSers to take a photo somewhere at Disney with our CVS cards. :thumbsup2

Good day for me CVSing. I had to travel down close to Baltimore for an orthopedic surgeon's appointment (torn rotator cuff - ouch!) and we hit 4 CVS stores on the way. 1 store was wiped out of the Neutrogena soap, 1 store had 1 bar left but the other 2 had enough for me to finish the deal on my cards.

We also stopped at 3 Rite Aids trying to stock up on the Valentine's candy on clearance but every single store was sold out of the Cinnamon Imperials.

I've had my card a long time and just started using it in December (boo hoo missed the Thanksgiving deals) I immediately got the $/$$ then a week or so later got mail. I'll go a long time without coupons, then around holidays get the emails $/$$. Never since the beginning have I gotten then as a CRT. I try not to use my card more than once a week.... I figured you'd get better coupons if you used it less, but for me it doesn't seem to matter if I go daily or weekly, I get whatever....

So you haven't received a CRT yet? I bet you will start getting them in March.

I had my card for a long time and never used it because you used to have to go back 2 days later for your ECBs, it was weird and I hated it. As soon as they started printing at the register, I was hooked for good (after Its A Happy Day started doing a weekly thread).

When I click on the link it comes up "page not found". Is there another link for the colgate coupon?
Did you click on the 'download' button?

I am still trying to figure out the CVS stuff as we don't have a store in town. Every once in awhile I go to a town 2 hours away with DH when he goes for work. We might be heading there this week....and I have questions. :rotfl:

Do you get the $5/$30 coupon when you scan your card at the door? TIA

I found 6 packs of the 25 count CVS makeup remover pads at a CVS I don't go to very often. (They are in the city and have 10% sales tax, so I try to avoid buying stuff there.) :cool1: :cool1:

Too tired/lazy to type it all out but I stopped at CVS on the way to work and did the Colgate & got that last Gillette Gamer (last one in the store:thumbsup2 ). They were out of the cotton rounds and the Neutrogena. So after work headed back and they had tons of the red re-stocking totes out. The Neutrogena was restocked so did my last deal on that and they had restocked the 25ct cotton rounds. I never did figure out the 10ct package people have mentioned. :confused3

Same card different town, where I do my groceries. Did 2 Bodiheats, 1 CVS Aspirin, 1/2 priced Valentine Kisses, 2 Degree Deo, and my earlier purchase had generated a free 30ct CVS cough drop (others seem to have gotten mouthwash).

DS was with me so he did the Neutrogena and Colgate on his card.

Had a quick stop at Walgreens and picked up the "free" Contact solution and 2 Glade sprays (2 coupons and part of ESR). The were out of Gillette Gamers and the trial Thermacares. The cosmetic CM said their truck doesn't come in until Saturday. Of course, I'll be out of town from Friday morning thru Sunday late afternoon.

I think tomorrow before work I'll try to roll into the 2 bodiheats, 2 cotton rounds, 1 aspirin and the Gillette Shampoo at my local CVS.

Smiller and Hmillerbarilla you look so cute in your picture.

Thanks!:goodvibes

I think this is a great idea. :thumbsup2 Who's going to the world next? I think smiller & I should do lobby photos. We'll be at the BC next time but it won't be for like 10 more months!!

Some news..

Other boards are saying Colgate limit has been increased to 5. If you can't use the pdf in your store, the March All You magazine (shipping last week and this week) is supposed to have a $1.50 coupon.

If you have any Stayfree BOGO coupons (1-4-09 Red Plum), there is a monthly deal to get $2 ECB on packages of 14-24 ct., limit 5. CRTs are printing for $2, so it's a money-maker with the CRT or free without it with the BOGO (on the $3.99 packages).

Jack&Ryan'smom, look in the trial size section (or near the cotton) for 25 count packages of cotton rounds. They are 99 cents and you can buy 2 at a time, up to 10 packages. You get $2 ECB for every 2. I guess there are also 25 count of cotton squares (but I never saw them) and 10 count of square or round too (never saw those either).

The neutrogena bars are in with the face care products (Olay, L'Oreal, etc). They were on the bottom or second to bottom shelf in both my stores.

They are CVS brand 25 ct. rounds that sell for .99. I found them in the travel section in several stores. I have also seen them hanging with the nail polish removers. Others have reported them hanging on pegs at random locations throughout the store. Buy 2 get a $2 ECB.

Thanks!
