Cvs deals 4/5-4/11

I made my trip out today. The first CVS I went to only had the $25 ITunes GC.. AT my second I got three of the $15, and had to wander around a little to get my stuff up. They were restocking, and the shelves were pretty bare. The skintamite limit was changed to 2. The wipes I planned to get were out. The excedrins weren't on the shelf. They kept putting stuff out and my plan kept changing. Finally here's what I did

$45 3 $15 Iunes GC
$3.49 Skintimate Shave cream
$13.93 7 Excedrins
$0.79 Grass (raincheck)
$0.79 Grass (raincheck)
$9.99 Acucheck monitor
$0.99 Glade air spray

It didn't total enough so I threw in a 0.33 caramel.

I handed over $15 off $75, $1.00 off the glade CRT, then started handing over the $2 coupons for excedrin. The register would only take 6 of my seven coupons. It wouldn't allow her to adjust the total below $45 because of the GCs.... So my total ended up being $47.56.... I got the $10 ECB for Itunes, $9.99 ECB for the monitor, $3.49 for the shave gel and then she had to manually print two $1 ECBs for the grass... So the net was about $22 for the $45 worth of GCs and the other stuff. Apparently when you buy GCs the register is not going to let the total get below the GC amount. I'm okay with what I spent for what I got.

There are also 2 covergirl Q's in the P&G saver making this a $5 moneymaker.

I think you should be able to use the $5/$25 too. Just give that one first.

Thanks for the info.
I didn't get the paper, but I may start.
I have not had a money maker yet, except this week's colgate which was only 0.01 over.

I went this morning, on the way to work.
I didn't try the 2nd coupon.
Took me a while to come up with a combination that was between $20 & $21 and gave me what I wanted.
Bought eye shadow, eye liner, mascara, & concealer, 4.79 + 4.79 +5.49 + 5.49 -10/20 cosmetic -10ECB = 0.56 oop and 10ECB back for next time! That's my first deal like that. :yay:

If I could do this more often it would help a lot!
And I can see how this could be addicting.

I have not found them to be as friendly to coupons as CVS. You won't have a problem with the mentos coupons though they probably will grumble at marking them down to .99.

I have a problem with any of the printed coupons, even ones from their own site or ones they email me. I get the "it has to be in color ink" spiel all the time. I rarely use printed coupons there now unless I am in the mood to argue. I pretty much only do the deals that have regular coupons for.

Don't forget to do the bounty. It is .99 and you can use the $1 coupon from this weeks PG insert for free towels!

I used to not bother with Rite aid much either but the deals are so good this week. They also have the olay bar soap for 2.50 with the $2 P & G Q it is only $.50. The halls are a good deal too, .50 after Q. Also, most of the cashiers here have changed and seem to be more coupon friendly. Maybe b/c the company is having so much trouble or b/c more people are couponing now with the economy the way it is?

Another deal there is a $25 giftcard if you spend $50 on all kinds of allergy meds/nosespray. (check their monthly circular for what is included) I am so excited about this b/c my husband's nosespray is included, which never goes on sale.
Ohhh! Great! Thanks for the feedback. I'm adding Bounty and olay to my list. And I'm gonna check the weekly circular to see what else I can get. I'm gonna give it a try tonight or tomorrow. I'll let you all know how I make out. Hopefully I get a coupon friendly cashier!

I noticed last week that the CVS deals were posted on the board a few days before the sale began. Is this a usual thing?
I had too much fun shopping this weeks ad, I'm trying patiently to wait for next weeks!

Lots of sites post the ads a few weeks in advance. I usually go over to iheartcvs.com to plan ahead.

I've decided to try and use the $15/$75 CRT that I got the other day. It doesn't expire until Sunday. So, I thought I would shop Saturday afternoon and take advantage of both weeks sales. Here is what I have so far...

42.25 back in ecbs...so a potential profit of 9.84. I need help figuring out something above $8 to get me to the $75 mark that will cost the least oop. Do you guys have any ideas? This will be the most I have spent oop since I started a year ago. It's also the lowest amount of ecbs I've had since I started. And I really need to build up my ecbs again.

Do you have any Johnson's coupons to buy the Buddy Bars? Or if you drink Coke you can do the Coke deal...it will increase your OOP but I don't mind spending real money on stuff we actually use. Is there any way you can get more Excedrin coupons? Thats all I can think of off the top of my head. I have a $15/$75 that I am debating about using on Saturday too.

I went today and used a $20/$100, I did the itunes as well and it let me get my total down to $25. I could not use my ecb's on the itunes and I gave over the $20 Q first. I also bought 3 $15 cards, a shave gel, pantene shampoo & hairspray, 4 razor refills, and a small hairbrush in clearance for 0.99 as a filler.

Kycha - I thought the razor refills was a good deal if you have the coupons. It would be 21.00 before the sale & coupons, BOGO sale makes it 10.49, the 2, $4 off coupons bring it down to 2.49. I also like the pantene shampoo that gives one ecb. Pair it with the coupon for the free styler. It would raise your total about $9 and only cost about 2.99 after Q and ecb's.

I wonder if the registers are set differently here. She tried to adjust the coupon, then I handed her a $3.49 ecb and it wouldn't even take that. They had to void it and totally re-ring it. I did hand over the $15/$75 first, so I'm not really clear on it. I like that store and wanted to be nice, so I didn't really force the issue.

Although I was sick at spending $47 oop, I've gotten really good at making mine $1 or so. That's the most I've spent in a LONG time

The only thing I can think of was the manager did have to come over and approve my coupon. The reason was my total was right at $100 and when the BOGO sale went thru on the razors it set my total down to $80, so maybe her card helped to let the itunes thing work too. I also felt weird having a $25 bill but those itunes were a good deal.

Is the Skintimate limite more than one? I zipped into a CVS and found one on my way back from the dentist this afternoon. My receipt does not say "offer limit reached."

Can someone tell me where I might find the $4 Schick coupon that was mentioned? I have the BOGO and wanted to combine them. Thanks!

Yes, I read somewhere that it's been raised to two. Hope that isn't regional. I haven't tried yet. Still trying to figure out some $75/15 deals but I'm getting a :headache:.

I don't have the $4 off coupon, but can someone explain how it would work with the BOGO coupon? (I do have that one) I don't think I'd get the $4 off one anytime soon, but just for future reference I wanted to know how that works.

I have one for my sister's card. I think I'm going to do the soaftsoap things, I have 4 $2 coupons, and they're 4 ECB back. Does anyone know when that ends? Or the limit? I'm planning on going Saturday... Do the sensative toothpaste (2) and the soaftsoap bodywash... Then I dunno what else. I have TV converter coupons, but haven't seen them. The soaftsoaps would be around $16, the toothpaste would be about $8, the bodywash is $3.99... That's around $28, so I've got a long way to go.... I may just let it expire. I already got the freebies on her card for this week. I could possibly do the Itunes deal for 3 $15 cards, but those were hard to find here.... That would still only be around $73... If they have them I may, then just find some monthly filler.... Maybe the monitor I dunno....

CVS is SUPPOSED to accept a coupon for EACH item of B1G1. For example if cereal is $3.99 and B1G1, you have 2 $2 off coupons.... You can use a coupon for EACH cereal... So it would be free...
